Been offline for three days, and I've been graduated!! Hope that you won't mind if I still post here, as I can't keep up with the main thread!
25 weeks today though :j. Seems like only a couple of weeks ago I was taking test after test just to convince myself I really was pg! Have an appointment with the community midwife tomorrow to check up on me and baby. Not sure yet if they will send me for a GTT but I'm hoping to avoid it just because they have so much trouble getting blood out of me and I could do without another load of needle holes!
I'm counting down to maternity leave too - planning to take that from 12 Dec (baby due 2 Jan) but should have at least a week and a half holiday to use up before, so this week is 11 full weeks at work and counting down. Can't wait:):heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

Re. maternity leave, I'm planning to work up to my due date as far as possible. Still got my fingers crossed that HR won't notice that I've been working here 2 days too few to qualify for SMP. Even if I get away with it, I'll only get 6 weeks at 90% pay. I'm planning to take 6-8 weeks off, then back to work again! DH is going to look after the baby while I'm working, as he's at home. As I'm providing the only income, we can't really justify me taking any more time off than that. However I'll only be back at work for a couple of weeks before the Easter holidays, so will be able to work from home a bit then, as well as using up some of my leave.
I was about 2 weeks late according to my Mum, so I guess that means this one might be a bit late too!0 -
I second that Gilly, i was sick with all 3 DDs, and this time i have been fine! Just like a hangover for the 1st few weeks, and a bit of acne (which i didnt have with the girls
)
All 3 girls were late, and now i`m wondering if i should be prepared for a baby that could be on time/early as is a different sex?? I`m worried its gonna be a big baby, last DD was 8lb 14oz at just 3 days late :O xxMummy to 3 beautiful GIRLS, 9, 7 and 3,and a handsome lil BOY 03.03.12 :T

My mother had 3 kids, 2 girls, 1 boy and she said she was as sick as a dog for all of us, so not sure how true the sickness=girl theory is.
I've had no morning sickness just the odd bit of nausea when I'm hungry, which seems to be all the time!! Bad thing is I've put on almost a stone and I'm only 14+4, but I really hope its a girl mainly because we can't agree on any boys names and have a massive list of girls names!!
My mother was also late with all of us, not late enough to be induced, but just a few days with the other two and almost 2 weeks with me so fingers crossed I'll follow suit!!Got married 13/11/10

Congrats flutterby, I'm so pleased to hear everything is ok for you
I saw on the Less than 12 Weeks that you were very aprehensive about today!
:j Debt Free 27.07.2011!! :j0 -
I'm the opposite to the theory then.
I had no sickness, no nausea, and a perfectly pain free pregnancy with my DD.
This time, I've had loads of sickness and nausea, and I ache all over, and it turns out we're having a mister.
I always did like to be a bit different lol..x0 -
