Congrats on V day Kira! I already lurk on the big thread anyway but will be there officially in 3 weeks!

1 more sleep until my scan :D

My friend (the one I knitted the blanket for, if anyone remembers the picture I posted the other week..) had her baby a week early yesterday, they've called her Lola Rose, such a pretty name! Can't wait to go meet her!

Nope, team yellow for us! Part of me wants to know but I'd really like to keep it a surprise! Plus MIL is coming with us and have told her we're not finding out so have got to stick to it!

Are you planning on finding out at your scan?

YES. I'm almost bursting with how much I want to know now. I've got a pretty strong feeling, but I'm not sure if that's from actually knowing or just a little bit of wanting on my and OH's part. Plus everything I've bought so far is blah, I want colour dammit!

I knew the sex for DD1, but not DD2 and DD3. Really really want to know this time, as i know from experience how little the neutral baby stuff will be used once i have the baby! Will all be pink or blue haha! So having a private gender scan next week :) Sooo looking forward to it! 15+ 3 today, feels like i have such a long way to go to the finish line yet! Hope You ladies are all well xx

OH just felt a few kicks for the first time! We're sat on the sofa watching tv, and I could feel some movement. I told him to put his hand on my tummy, just in case he could feel something, then all of a sudden there was quite a big kick, which he felt! His face was a picture, he had a huge grin on his face :D

The first few times I felt something, I just thought it was a muscle twitching. I only had the butterfly fluttering feeling once or twice, a week ago or so, and since then it's been faint kicks. But then I still get days like yesterday where I didn't feel anything at all. Haven't felt much today until this evening.

Icey- hope you have a fab honeymoon!!!

4nnabella- good luck with your scan and good to hear about baby kicking!

I had my scan today am still 21+1 and its a boy!!!!!
All ok so far so am relieved with the caveat that they might not detect everything because of bmi etc

Turned out it was hubby that needed the tranquiliser dart not me!!!!!!!!! I turned round to tell him it was a boy and he did not respond, he had fainted because he had got too hot etc :eek::eek::eek: I tried to prop him up whilst help was summoned.... cant take him anywhere:rotfl:he is fine although mightily embarassed!!!!!!!! Needless to say my mother will be also in attendance at the birth just in case....!
