Wee Update
Been busy working woohoo!!
Money tight but alright for now.
Abu Dhabi is still on, just getting through the paperwork, have lots of calls to make and emails to send but will do it tomorrow
Diet going well, had a bit of a blip on Saturday. Had a wee night out in Greenock and consumed chinese, chocolate and cocktails. It was a good night though!
Been doing the Shred almost everyday and going onto level 2 tomorrow eek!
The Westend Festival is on and theres a few free things I'm hoping to go to.
Better go tidy up, my kitchen and living room iare both a mess...:(0 -
Well done on the Shred - and all sounding good for Abu Dhabi :jSometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!Total debt @ Oct 2008: £29,226.42 Credit Card- £[STRIKE]7493.56[/STRIKE] - £7243.56Weightloss : 0/34lbs0

I wouldn't normally say great news on the working, but know you have been really strapped so am pleased you have some cash coming in
Also brilliant news on Abu Dhabi :j
good luck with the Shred :eek:0 -
Hey Diary
Well was working last night, the shift was fine but the staff were quite unfriendly and made it pretty uncomfortable. Luckily this is a rarity.
Diet going well, staying within calorie limit..most of the time and sticking with the Shred. I have just done day 3 of level 2 and it is pretty hard, not good at holding myself up during the planks.
Saying that I definitely feel a difference, I havent weighed myself but I'm feeling more lean and 'stretched'
The Abu Dhabi paperwork is a right ache, have managed to lose my uni certificate which they need so will probably have to pay for another one.
Money is alright, having mainly low spends. Treated self to Glamour for the Benefit goody, was the face brightener type thing.
Oooh and I got ANOTHER Groupon deal... £15 for 10 day passes to LA Fitness, can use the gym/pool/classes, great value0 -
Back to nightshift for a few tonight.
Still eating well, I think myfitnesspal helps sooo much
Day 4 of the Shred done woohoo!
Our non holiday refund is through so we are going to look at some cheapo beach hols for next month, will give me incentive to stick with this diet

Definately an incentive! Love myfitnesspal. It's definately the best app i've downloaded.0

great news on the Shred, and on the refund! That was quick!
sounds like a great deal on Groupon.
What's the Benefit stuff like? I got the posietint or whatever it is (am a subscriber so get what I'm given) and haven't tried it yet, but love most of their stuff. I'm still using a pink lipgloss from last year that came with the same magazinewent for a job interview with them once as their head office is near me, but sadly didn't get it. A real shame as they have an office dog!!

I havent tried it yet. I'm still not much of a make up person, think I need some lessons :rotfl:.
Well thats another couple of nightshifts done:T, hopefully have plenty of work over the next few weeks but HR seem to have made an error with my hours which could cause problems .
Am still awake, been up since 3.30pm yesterday. Had interview for that cosmetic job today, was OK, more a chat than anything. I dont think it competes with Abu Dhabi though...
Still eating well, still shredding, def feeling better for it.
Have lots of things to do tomorrow:- Phone HR to try resolve c**k up
- Not get angry on phone re above
- Phone Dad
- Send Fathers Day card
- Fill out more UAE forms and start online thingy I have to do
- Do big clean of living room
- Clean up kitchen and bathroom
- Shred
- Trim the grass out back
- Write shopping list
- Shop with above list
- Do things with plants
- Many more but too tired to think
Still have the following Groupon (and similar) things to get- Snowboarding lessons (arranged for 1st sunday in July)
- Mani and Pedi
- Facial and makeover with eye package or manicure
- Highlights, cut and blowdry (hopefully next week)
- Gym passes
Oh, I remember saying I dont like shops own brand shampoo/conditioner. It's a personal thing, I always seem to feel residue in my hair with cheaper versions. However, i picked up some of Tescos 'My Senses' range, the orange one. The design and look is a blatant copy of Herbal Essences and its fab! Smells delicious and my hair feels lovely. Only £1 each, bargain :money:0 -
Okay so I am still awake, decided theres no point going for a sleep I'll just get a long lie in the morning
I have cleaned the kitchen and done the worst bits of the living room and bathroom, got some washing on and done the shopping list.
Got my Dads card ready, just need a stamp, dont want to post it too soon.
Have broke the relatively new hoover.
Taking a rest day from the Shred though, back on it tomorrow.
Shall plan for the next few days in regard to getting house gutted/tidy0 -
wow sounds like you are going to be a busy bunny!
I was always a bit funny about own brand shower gel. My ultimate gorgeous treat is a Ren shower gel that lasts months and smells of turkish delight - mine ran out recently but I couldn't stretch to replacing it. So I was thrilled to find a fab smelling shower gel in waitrose - called cinnamon cakes, 2 of my favourite things on the planet. And it was £1.15 - total bargain and I love it!
I am funny on shampoo/conditioner too. My hair is so temperamental it takes a LOT to get me to change! Am on Aussie and Brilliant Brunette these days - Aussie for curly days, BB for straight days. I try to only get them when they are on offer though.
sleeping after sporadic night shifts is a mare, I feel for you. x0
