I blame Pippa Middleton for making everyone feel fat :(

A book I was reading about depression recently suggested that there is too much talk of trying to cure depression when basically you can't. The author was suggesting that we should be learning to live with it the way people live with asthma/diabetes. She said that lots of days you will feel fine and on those days you get things done. When you aren't well just do the minimum required to get through the day and know that you'll have plenty more better days. I like that theory, it's very realistic.

Have finally phoned the tax office to get my tax code changed so should have a wee bit more in my pay packet now. Guess I should also be getting a refund woohoo!! It is much needed at the moment :).
Bought a dress for my holiday, will have to get everything out that I need and make a list of stuff I'm still to get.
Looking forward to visiting my mate down south on Friday for the weekend :)
Not much else to say, not sure (again) whats happening about Abu Dhabi, I remain optimistic though :)

    Details of dress please!

And contrats on the tax. Wish that happened to me!
  • seconded, would love to hear about the dress! I tried a lovely Topshop one on last night, but would have had someone's eye out even with my minimal cleavage!

I loved SATC2 - not quite as heart wrenching as the first film (but then I saw it with major PMT with 2 friends who were also premenstrual so we blubbed all the way through the same bit, was v embarrassing!) but quite good at the same time and worth a watch if you are a fan.

LB - detox wise I can recommend the Lemon Detox diet if you want to do something that doesn't involve eating :)

Oh meant to say, I love SATC and also loved the first film. When I saw the second at the cinema I was pretty disappointed with it, didnt like how theyd changed certain characters etc. Since watching it again I kinda like it more, its just a fun film but maybe wasnt necessary...
