Evening
Not a bad day, went to the Girls Day Out Show which was good but extremely busy and not enough freebies as I hoped for
For the ticket price (£12) I got a cocktail, glass of 'bubbly' and a Boots goody bag (No7 and 17 make-up, quite good actually).
Didnt get any treatments as was so busy plus was obviously trying not to spend too much!
Treated self to a chinese when got home, was good but forgot how salty things are (I never add salt to anything at home), am so thirsty now.
Have done no exercise and feel like a bloater.

So I had my interview over the phone at 9am yesterday morning. Hadnt prepared much for it due to the previous cockle-ups. It went alright but there were a few things I didnt know and one particular queston I answered wrong (in my defence it appears to be something done different over there to here). There wasnt much chat about cultural differences etc, was like interviewing for a job down the road!
The lady from the recruitment agency in London txt me good luck, I txt her back saying I didnt think it went well. I know everyone says that but I am genuinely rubbish at interviews and manage to fluff up the simplest of questions. So imagine my shock  (yep just like that) when she sent me an email saying I had been recommened for the job and they will send out the official letter soon.
:j:j:j
I'm still not 100% convinced, have this horrible feeling that the HR person in Abu Dhabi has got the names mixed up or somthing, I am still waiting for the official letter...
If it is true and I have got the job it will take a few months for everything to be sorted. My flat will need some work done, will need a couple of new windows, new carpet, new fence and general lick of paint. I will hopefully be able to rent it out if NRAM let me...if not then I'll have to sell it and take the £20k loss :eek:.
Something has to change though as my life is pants and I hate to be wasting it sitting in the house myself wishing everything was different and dreaming of 'this time last year'.
Despite all of the above I am trying to stay positive, I'm just realistic though and feel its best to be prepared for everything going tights up.
In other news my work situation here is dire, I am actually very lucky I never got round to finally paying off the rest of the overdraft and closing it :rotfl:else I'd def be up the creek...
Have lost healthy eating/exercise mojo. I think I'll just have to FORCE SELF to go swimming/running from now on. Did resist buying a delicious looking chocolate cake which was reduced to 65p :EasterBunhard work!
I have to renew my house insurance, booooooo0 -

Do you have the money for home improvements? Do you know how long you would stay in Abu Dhabi? Just wondering if it might be best to keep the house so you have it to come back to if and when you choose.Total debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000 -
