I decided last night that I would try again so put it on this morning and persevered, its only 20 minutes but high impact (well for me anyway) and I have read on people having some great results from it
I was planning Ben Nevis every week before the school holidays (did this last year and lost a stone) but might save the petrol and invest in the Shred.

Wow I'd love to do that! How hard/easy is it?0 -

It gets easier. Perhaps pick a smaller hill to start. Ben Lomond is a little closer to Glasgow. Last spring/summer I did it every week for 12 weeks. I like the drive.
After a few weeks my legs no longer ached afterwards and my time was down to 2hours up and 1hour50 down. Just check the weather before on http://www.bennevisweather.co.uk/weather.asp
Also make sure you take wee stops when you need to, have water/food appropriate for the trip and the basic equiptment. (I only walk in reasonably good weather so can take a bit more of a risk equiptment wise)Debt now £48,000 in the form of a mortgage

Yeah I am pretty fit which helps. You could try and persuade a friend(s) to join you- this is how I started off. I only walk it in spring/summer and try and catch good weather so only really have walking boots, socks, liner socks and a fleeces as far as specialist equiptment goes. Even try some smaller hills closer to home.Debt now £48,000 in the form of a mortgage

Just a quick iPhone update. Didn't do the c25k today due to the rain. Oops

Bought an £8 bikini from primark. Urghhh
Also discovered today, the first proper rain since the roof/gutters were repaired that they definitely were NOT repaired
