LOVE that saying. I love the feeling of oppertunity that comes with the start of a plan. Your skin sounds very like mine and so do your clothes to be honest but as I'm in the process of losing weight (although to be honest, the weight isn't shifting at the moment :o) I don't want to spend too much money till I get to about a size 12 (I'm 14/16/18 at the moment)

You'll get there, a coupla years back I was a 14/16, am now a 10:eek: but still cant quite believe it yet. Too used to looking for things that fit and cover up rather than garments that actually make me look good...

    I'm loving this new plan.

How about when you are out and about this week keep an eye on what other people are wearing. When someone's outfit catches your eye make a note of what exactly it is they are wearing and use this as a starting point for things to buy yourself.

No idea if you live near enough to Souk to meet her but perhaps you could email her a picture and she could make some suggestions.

If you like MAC make an appointment there for a make up lesson but don't pay for it unless you can redeem the cost against something you buy.

Thank you Mags :). Souk and I have already met up a wee while back!
I always see people with styles I like but then am useless when I go to buy stuff in the shops!
In the past with MAC I've had the makeover then got products against the value of the fee. Must admit their stuff lasts ages!

    At Last!!!

I have started the Couch25k programme!!!
Very proud of myself but omg I am sooooo unfit.
Still have NO WORK on eeeeeeek, I'll be ok but means my overdraft will not be paid off anytime soon :(
Think I will take a wee wander to the shops to cheer self up...with my vouchers of course :)
  • wow check out the change in you already! :T :T

things are sounding so much more positive! What a great choice of things to work on first, they are both fairly straightforward and achieveable so should give you lots of confidence to tackle some other stuff :)

when I moved back into my house after I bought the ex hubs out, I redecorated the living room and bedroom. I completely changed the layout of each room as well and it gave me a great sense of it being different to when we both lived there, and a new start. I LOVE both rooms now and feel very at home and peaceful there :) good luck! I am about to have a change around again (not bedroom though as I lurrrve it just as it is) and have found a feng shui book very useful to help do this.

I am a fellow MAC lover too. Although the girls on the counters can look quite OTT they are generally good at listening to you and giving you what you ask for. Not cheap but I have never regretted anything I have bought from their counters and have also never reacted to any. I also like Benefit stuff (including the fun loving cheeky image of their products).

Good luck with everything and look forward to hearing all about it :j

Well have managed to eat well today then my Mum came round with a massive bar of dairy milk for me
    Eeeeeeeeeeeeeek
She was away on holiday and got me that as there were no Easter Eggs left in her local shop when she got back :)
The chocolate is in the fridge, and yes it is shouting on me very loudly. Theres an aldi 69p pineapple next to the choc so I will have some of that instead :)
I now have some shifts for the weekend, phew.
I bought two summer dresses and a top today from New Look with my xmas voucher yeay! Cheapies but they'll do.
Just have to sort out the hair and face...
I think I'd like a to decorate my bedroom with a touch of Cath Kidston style, not too much. I'd really like some bedding but the duvet sets are sooo expensive, will be on the lookout for some alternatives methinks :)

I have an NHS one, its quite good (podcast I mean, not bra:rotfl:). I dont have that problem so much now that I've lost weight, not sure if that makes me :D or:(!!

So today I thought I'd like to go swimming, I LOVE swimming yet never go. Why??? I found the LA Fitness pass and went along so free swim for me:money:. Their membership isnt too bad actually and I might consider it but the staff were a bit too pushy for my liking. I told the guy I didnt want to sign up for anything today, maybe after the 3 days I will but he was quite annoyed with me! I know he's only trying to make a sale and it must be quite frustrating but I'd had a good experience until that point. There was a missed call from them about an hour after I left too  jeez (went through my bag to check I hadnt left anything there!).

Bought some poundland bog roll on the way home, sure you all needed to know that! I do recommend it tho :rotfl:. Also got a grapefruit from Aldi to have at breakfast tomorow.

    The chocolate is still there
