but it sounds like you have some fab stuff to look forward to as well! :j
You have made so many changes and it is such a difficult time. In the immediate aftermath of the wedding that wasn't, I really felt the need to wallow in misery so decided to accept that I was a bit down and just get on with itI'm really glad I did. I think a lot of people expect you to just get over it, but unless they have really been through it, they won't get it and may struggle to understand why you feel as you feel.
Don't forget your lovely post about Counting your Blessings (which really inspired me!) and also you made some comments on my old diary about all the things you had been able to get on with on your own
Hope you can find some way through, it's spring time and great for new beginnings. I am full of the joys at the moment, partly weather related and partly with everything that happened with my granny, I just don't want to waste any more of my life now.
If you aren't working for now that sounds like it won't be helping you as you will have lots of time on your hands and that's never good if you don't want to think too much- hope it gets better soon and that you can find some things to keep yourself entertained.
Lots of love and happy thoughts :j xx
PS - and FWIW, I'm really glad I kept going with my diary because now I look back at the dark days last July and realise just how far I have come and it's pretty good really! (hope not sounding too annoying) so post away
PPS - I am with you on being kind and considerate and it getting you nowhere. I will be much more careful with my affections now, but it won't stop me being the way I am. Ex really abused my good nature, but that is his issue not mine. well partly it was mine for not having my eyes open, but overall, IT WAS HIM NOT ME! hahaha
Helloooo it's nice to see you here!!! I know I'm a lot better than before but guess its just the bank hols etc that sting a bit.
You are def sounding very joyous. I'll get there soon

Treat yourself nicely love and lionheart I didn't mean to sound harsh. Wallow for a bit aye, but then dust yourself off, get the smile on and fake it til you feel it! X'The road to a friends house is never long'0

I fake it most of the time:rotfl:. It does help cos when you feel down everything seems rubbish so you just have to reverse it somehow. Theres times when its hard work pretending I'm fine (like now) but I kinda know now that I can come on here, write it up and let go. This diary lark does help!0

Ok diary the time has come for some serious action. Things have to change!!! Having read through some diaries I have decided that I have to renovate myself
, this time things are different as it's something I want to do FOR ME, as opposed to for someone else.
The following has been pinched from the diary of the lovely lionheartedgirl who pinched it from cherisong:
All changes, even the most longed for, have their melancholy; for what we leave behind us is a part of ourselves; we must die to one life before we can enter another. ~Anatole France
To change one's life:
1. Start immediately.
2. Do it flamboyantly.
3. No exceptions.
I now feel ready to make some changes to myself and my life, I feel these will help me let go of the past and move forward. The first two areas I am going to work on are -- My appearance
- My bedroom
I also have to get some decent clothes, mine are all scruffy and ill fitting, I need to find my 'look' and stop living in jeans! I'm not sure how to go about this bit, maybe a session with a stylist but will have to wait til i have some cash .
Then theres my hair which I have neglected, I still have my groupon voucher to claim so will get highlights soon and a cut, I have to budget to keep this up as it makes such a difference having a decent doo.
My face , I stopped wearing make up (apart from nights out etc) a few years back as I had really bad spotty skin. It has since cleared but my skin is still blotchy and uneven. I think I need some make up lessons and to buy some decent products. This is quite important to me as I dont have a clue really. I've had a few MAC makeovers in the past and looked/felt like a completely different person so I know it's worth it.
Also have to keep eyebrows nice, get nails done and keep up a decent skincare routing. I am getting into the habit of moisturising everyday too.
Onto my bedroom
It's not a nice place really, drab colours, ugly furniture etc. I just sleep in there but I want it to be a haven type place, somewhere to relax and have pretty things in. To do this I am going to ask my Dad for help in painting my room as I tend to make a mess of the edging! I have some new bedcovers in mind I would like which will shape the rest of the decoration of the room. Again, money is needed for this...
So those are the first two things. From flab to fab...here I come :j0 -

LOVE that saying. I love the feeling of oppertunity that comes with the start of a plan. Your skin sounds very like mine and so do your clothes to be honest but as I'm in the process of losing weight (although to be honest, the weight isn't shifting at the moment) I don't want to spend too much money till I get to about a size 12 (I'm 14/16/18 at the moment)
