Cakelover - Thanks for the link, had a wee read and it does make a lot of sense. Somethings are easier said than done but I am getting there (just have to remind myself of that sometimes).

SA - thanks for popping in . The whole 'plateau' thing is spot on actually, I think I was too busy trying to put on a brave face and keep myself occupied that when I stopped for a minute everything had changed and I was still stuck behind. I do see things clearer now which I am thankful for as I can actually move on

BF and Shoegal - I would love to go to Dubai! If not, I will probably just apply for Saudi. Aware thats its a much harder life but I now KNOW that I want to be away from here for a while.

Not much to say today otherwise. Went out for a meal last night with one of the meetup groups. Food was delicious, much much better than I thought it'd be. Was pretty cheap too, spent less than £10 with drinks .

The roof fixing process appears to have started, there was lots of banging and crashing earlier today. Theyve gone now so I guess they'll be back later. Well I hope so anyway...

I'm back at work tonight, tomorrow night its another girls cocktail night in, cant wait . Back to work Sunday night for 4 nights I think. Will still do my best to get to Curves everyday, its going well!

Very quick wee update. I should be asleep as on nightshift and have to get up in an hour . But got a call today and looks like I have an interview for Abu Dhabi!! V excited . Still waiting to hear from the Dubai hospitals too.

Hello Diary

Well been quite busy past few days with work and stuff so time for some relaxing now :j.

I was at work on Friday night, got home at half 9am on Sat and went for a nap. It was such a nice day I got up and met my friend in town. We went for lunch and had a stroll around in the sun, again such a noticable difference in people when the weather is nice. Decided to put a bet on the Grand National, wasnt sure what I was doing so just put £1 on three random horses. The winner was one of them, the slip is still in my bag though, have mixed emotions about the whole thing. Went to another friends house that night for food and cocktails, much fun .

Back to work Sun, Mon and Tues night, diet a bit off track as I had too much toast and a biscuit too many . Yesterday I got another great deal off 5pm.com, one I've been waiting for for a while :j. I've always wanted to try snowboarding and my local park have a slope and do a 3hour condensed taster lesson for £45, the 5pm offer was for £18 so maga chuffed with that :j. Managed to rope two friends in too, looking forward to it, just hope I dont hate it :eek:.

My interview for Abu Dhabi is now at 10am, phew! I am feeling the nerves now, cant believe how much I want to leave. I was speaking to the lady at the recruitment agency and she was telling me what sort of questions to expect (scenarios etc), she said that its quite common for them to cut you off when youre answering questions!! Tho apparently this is just what they do sometimes and isnt necesarilly a bad thing.

I am looking after my Mums cat while she goes on holiday. She brought her round today, the cat is only about 6-7 months old and had eaten my bonsai tree! Weirdo. Hopefully my cat will get along okay with her.

Ooh almost forgot...the roof has been repaired! Yeay!
