Lady in front of me did this the sa said she was not going to run around looking to see if it was on offer or not. E.G. till rules, the price it come up with is the price you get back. but if it is in the sale, you would have to show your reciept to get the original price, where it would be seen that you got it in a three for two.

From experience of returning goods to boots that have been part of an offer it depends on the SA. On retuning items without a receipt that have been BOGOF I have had the 2 refunded ( gift card) and also items that have been on 342 you only need to return the 2 if you have no receipt....offers change and some SA are unaware anyway.
Only just before christmas did I have a bad experience with returning an item that was part of 342. I had 3 toy items and wanted to swop 1 for a same price item out ofthe 342 range, stroppy SA argued that as it was part of 342 imay have got this item free and so wouldnt be entitled to exchange it...after 5 minutes of trying to explain that even so it would not matter as the item I wanted would be "free" she gave me what I wanted with a new receipt which she marked 3 4 2 offer...which i cut off the top and had a refund at another store recently as had another one of the same for christmas.

But generally on the whole boots are great at returning goods and sometimes you get more than what you paid!

hi all and happy new year, i bought a hair colour that was down from 5.99 to 3.99 and handed over a voucher that was 150 points for a 4.00 spend and it worked luckily i printed off two more at the time so will be stocking up!!hth

I went into Boots today and they are selling Lancome Fatale Gift sets reduced from £17.50 to £11.66. The box includes eye make up remover, eye pencil and a full size Fatale mascara which normally sells for £17.50 just by itself. Don't know if this is just available in Boots but it's worth checking out.

Today in Aldershot store they'd reduced their basic razors to 15p, and it still worked with the Golden Glow, but only two GGs left on shelf. Still, not bad value for 30p!

boots at durham had some great no 7 gift boxes in rrp £50 now half price, you also will get free the new number 7 gift that has 4-5 skin care minis in ( free with any purchase over £16). The 50 quid boxes had wipes, nail varnish, lip gloss etc in in a grea keepsake moc croc leather case, great gift, but was strong and didnt get any

Was in boots today (Aberdeen Bon Accord Centre) and they had a new promotion in the baby department. But 2 MAM soothers and receive a free soother saver (worth £2.99). Now there are 2 soothers in each pack and I couldn't tell from the sign if you needed to buy 1 pack (with 2 dummies in it) or 2 packets. So I tried my luck with 1 pack and the link save didn't come off, however the baby advisor did an over-ride and gave me the soother saver free. So it is probably the case you need to buy 2 packs, however the wording is REALLY misleading and it should be honoured on one pack.

That all sounds quite confusing, I hope the mummies (or daddies!) know what I mean!!

Also returned 2 bottles of golden glow, SA told me that they don't normally accept exhanges on them as skincare, but would on this occasion as she could tell they hadn't been used.

Got the Botanics/razors deal again today. It seems that as long as there is stock of the body lotion, the till will keep showing this as a "link-save". Maybe this will end when the Botanics 342 ends - does anyone know when that is ?
