Anyone else think juniorsherlock's life sounds like something out of a Dickens novel? What with all those taxi drivers and middle class businessmen mauling her and the police just laughing in her face.

Then she manages to work herself out the gutter. Her life story has all the hallmarks of a movie blockbuster.

Who would you want to play you in a film about your life? Sandra Bullock? Rosie Webster from coronation street?

No evoke, jealousy is not a good thing at all is it? So why compare?

Junior you do seem a very angry person.

I honestly think most people in this country would consider someone that could work but chose to live on benefit as the underclass, you disagree?

I see Junior as one of those girls that just loves to hate men.

I have seen it in blokes too mind. Use phrases like "snakes with t*ts" all the time. Its pretty sad really.
  • Oh I just love being analysed by amateur psychologists! I have every reason to hate men you are right there, but I don't. I'm married to a lovely man who restored my confidence in myself and I have also some very wonderful male friends to thank for sticking by me through thick and thin. If anything I actually get on better with men than with women, funny that.

I wouldn't say that anyone was the underclass no. Everyone has their story to tell and I think it incredibly sad that the children I see today who are neglected and uncared for will grow up to be this underclass you talk of. I wish something could change it all, interrupt that cycle. I'm all for action personally, but I guess you are all for just sitting back and condemning?
Yes there are people who don't want help, who like playing the victim card over and over, but I've met people like that from all walks of life.

You speak of the underclass as if this were the Indian caste system and those underclasses are not allowed to marry or have any relationships with anyone of a higher class, they are not allowed aspirations, must lower their heads when others walk by and are used to being spat on. That might make the higher classes feel better and superior, but it doesn't solve anything and your problem doesn't go away.

And once you've taken your rose-tinted spectacles off and descend down to earth from your happy-clappy utopia, you'll simply have to accept that many people don't want to live near chavs, people on benefits and HA tenants (which is what the original post is all about). End of.
Everyone is entitled to my opinion!

Whereas is my view, it is more to do with values....

    100% agree with you there.
  • Anyway, getting back to the OP rather than arguing 'he said, she said' like children in a playground...it's up to you OP what you choose to do, although I'd say having three dogs is a lot when most only have one dog per household. Get them used to the dog next door, but if all gets too much then sell up and move on to another area (and ask more questions if you move into another new build!! Make sure you know if there is a HA or not first before jumping in gung ho).

    Where did that come from?

That chip on your shoulder is the largest I've ever seen. I think they could probably see it from space.
