The high price is due to transport costs. Remember the Bugatti Veyron being filled up in Central London:

The high price is due to property prices and lack of competition - £192 @ 159.9p per litre. :eek:The man without a signature.0 -

Got a normal oldish Audi A4 diesel - popped into the garage today running on vapour and filled up to the top, squeezed the nozzle a couple of times for luck, then I looked round and nearly had a heart attack £75 for a tank ful
This is bl***dy ridiculous especially with fuel duty, VAT all coming out of post tax income - someone is having a serious laugh somewhere.
Someone unconcerned at petrol prices in the UK.

I've noticed this phenomena before, no matter which petrol station is discussed there is always a reason for the high prices0 -

And that was also happening while petrol was 60, 70, 80, 90 p a gallon - what's that got to do with anything. Does every penny you spend in the UK make you feel guilty
Your act is in the same category as posting a FB status to change the world - at least you should have the Ed Balls to post the picture in full rather than hide it away in a cornerAll CC & Other Debts - Paid Off

I heard an interesting conversation on Radio 4 Sunday evening, Michael Porter (not just a Business Strategy Guru - but the man who invented it) was saying that business needs to truly embrace social value rather than economic value and start selling products and isiong business models that don't actively hurt the consumers or their communities
They should stop doing all this corporate social responsibility bollox and start genuinely changing their approach to try and make capitalism most successful where it also has a social benefit.
Unfortuneately for this to happen almost every business school and business man will have to change their spots and I can't see that happening soonAll CC & Other Debts - Paid Off
