the first renewal packs will start hitting doorsteps from tomorrow, there are over 6.5 million forms to be issued so obviously the issuing has to be staggered, everybody should have received theirs by the end of June0

hi i was wondering if anyone could help, its a bit long winded.
2010/2011 i was employed for first few months and then self employed for last half of the year, when i renewed our income was around £13900 and then when my accounts were sorted i let them know i had a £1000 minus (which i still havent heard back from) so on the forms it says this years 2011/2012 was based on 14100,but when i renew our joint income with a loss i made is going to be about £8000 (it was a tough year) so my questions are....
1) are they going to owe me anything from 2010/2011 since i told them about £1000 loss?its been a while but they have said it can take weeks to here back.
2)are we likely to be owed anything after we do our renewal for 2011/2012?
many thanks0 -
Hi all.
My partner cares for me and works 16 hours week.
I was claiming ESA until he moved in last June 2011 and was advised "wrongly" to claim Working tax credits instead!
I still had to go to an ATOS interview in March 2012 to get WTC but because he is under the threshold of hours it has stopped the WTC anyhow!
My Question is can I go ahead and claim ESA again as I recently passed unfit for work interview or do i need to fill out another claim pack. I have rang today and no one in any department seems to have an answer to this question, how bloody stupid is that, so where I am expected to get answers for my questions?
Any advice would be appreciated, thank you0 -

Hi, Sorry if this has already been asked. I received my renewal today and I am trying to fill it in, I've not had a problem in previous years:o. In Part 1 I have put a cross in the Income Support box, it then says "If you have put an "x" in any box and you still get these benefits, please don't fill in PART 2, but go straight to PART 3". Simple enough but Part 2 "Taxable Social Security Benefits" contains Carers Allowance which I do receive. I don't want to get it wrong. Has anyone else had this and what did you do? Thanks.0

hi everyone, just wanted to ask a question, i work part time and my estimated income for 2011 - 2012 was £5611, as i was on maternity leave from march 2011 until february 2012 and claiming smp from through the jobcentre my actual earnings for the year are only £473, i have phoned the tco about it a couple of times through the year but was always told to leave it until it is time to renew, what i wanted to no is how is this going to affect my payments as it is such a difference???0

Because this question needs a bigger response I would post it as a question on it's own in the Benefits questions for ESA as it's now more of that than a WTC question. You'll get plenty of help to deal with it from there.0 -
with the income for savings they ask for anything over £300 does isa have to be declared ?and what do they do with these figures .will they just add this to earnings and therefore you would get less tax credits or is there a diff calculation they use ?:dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:0
