  • Ive had no documentation... just a random change. It seems we stragglers are just having a hit and miss time of it.

I rang over two weeks ago and was told my claim had been finalised, the award notice was in the post and my payments were going to be the same. Nothing arrived so I rang again to be told my claim hadn't been finalised, nothing was in the post and they couldn't tell me my new payments.

Bit more of an update, got a letter today from my MP saying she has contacted tax credits and they have promised to "expedite" (speed up) my case.... nearly 4 months later i dont hold much hope lol...
  • Well done on the contacting the MP thing, lets hope it works.

Award notice through, and all seems fine for me, just took a while...

another kind of update... still no fianlised award or increase of payments/underpayment.

My MP has received a reply basicly saying the same as HMRC told me, she has told them shes not happy with this so has now contacted the Director General, and awaits their reply.

After talking to a few people at school, and on here a few seem to be delayed because they had complience checks, eg, sending in wage slips/receipts for childcare etc, but i've nothing like this so its a bit of a mystery....

Are there others here still waiting?

I dont really know what to do now as its seems my complaint has gone to the top and it still isnt sorted!!
