  • What about the drivers who indicate they are turning left and then continue on round the roundabout? The ones who don't indicate at all obviously have radar installed inside!;)

    Yeah...thats the sort!!

the ones i hate most are those who dont indicate at mini roundabouts that they are taking the 1st exit which is clearly left so you think they are going past you straight over.....So you wait.......and they turn off....so rude....radar installed arrogant !!!!!!

If you crash into the side of them this may indicate(sic) that you are in the wrong lane - or maybe they are.

  • Most people just drive straight over the mini roundabouts round here.

Obviously it's only those three sets of people that don't do it. I would like to add men, boy racers, BMW/Audi drivers and old people so pretty much every demographic does it.

I indicate right if I'm in the left hand lane but intend to go across the roundabout. Near where I live there are 4 big roundabouts I have to negotiate and the number of times I've indicated correctly only to have idiots pull out in front of me.
  • A huge annoyance of mine. I have to cross a road just off a road about to get to work. It's like playing chicken across the road, you never know what the drivers intentions are as they either don't bother indicating when they should or they leave their indicators on when they aren't turning into that road.

Then once I have safely managed that I then have to negociate crossing a zebra crossing that most drivers never stop for. There have been occasions when drivers have had to do emergancy stops or I've had to run because I have assumed they were slowing down (the road changes to 5mp just before the crossing) and crossed but then they've carried on.

    ....Audi drivers...

I drive an Audi and ALWAYS indicate as appropriate !!! :rotfl:

I thought the rule for straight ahead was no indication until past the first exit and then indicate left ?? ( unless the exit is not "straight" ahead )

Personally, if I saw a driver in the lefthand lane indicating right I would think they were being a muppet :rotfl:

A real annoyance for me is when car drift across lanes on large roundabouts - despite very clear lane markings.

When I'm Prime Minister, I'm going to introduce a new offence of Failure To Indicate. Punishment will be 3 points, £100 fine and community service picking up dog turds, needles and a jolly good flogging.
