Not indicating at roundabouts

When I passed my test (admittedly 21 years ago :eek: - gosh that makes me feel old!) the Highway Code said that when going straight on at a roundabout you could, if you wished, indicate right to show that you weren't turning off at the first exit, before switching to left indicator when it was time to indicate for your exit.
I don't do that though - I think it mostly just confuses people.

What about drivers who indicate left well before they should so you are led to believe they're taking the first exit but in actual fact it's the second one.

I hate people not indicating. As a pedestrian it's annoying whether you know when to cross or not. My biggest annoyance is outside my Sainsburys there's a zebra crossing, and no one obeys it a lot of the time. GRR

My dad saw an elderly man go the wrong way round the roundabout near his house:eek: Scary biscuits, he caused mayhem.

My boyfriend doesn't indicate when waiting a traffic lights because he doesn't like the noise the indicator makes! It drivers me mad.

I've also nearly been run over before when a taxi driver was indicating right at a junction so I started to cross the road but he then proceeded to drive straight at me whilst still indicating right. He then had the nerve to shout out the window at me that just because he was indicating doesn't mean he had to turn right.

Mini roundabouts amuse me, when cars arrive at all the junctions at the same time and all sit looking at each other with an "After you" "No, after you" type smile. One of you please, just go!!!

And my ultimate annoyance, people who turn right from the left hand 'turn left' lane.

This is one of my three pet hates, the other two being people who stand next to each other on escalators so you can't walk past them, and people who after they've got money out of the cash machine just stand there in front of it messing around with their bags! Really you should be allowed to kill these people. Its the only way they'll learn

Ill second that. Special dispensation to kill non/wrong inticators at round a bouts and dilly dallyers at cash machines!!

I love how an internet forum can really iron out the true ills of our day to day lives in this great country
