Why house not selling?

Ok, lets go for it.
1) caravan blocking driveway, could it be stored elsewhere?
Eyesore to non caravanning buyers, distracting lump.
2) kitchen= nice.
3) living room, get rid of the nick naks around the fire. A nice big pic on the wall above fire could look nice. lots of clutter on the far left in room, hide it away. Open blinds fully for maximum light in. A few new coloured cushions on settee would be 20 quid well spent. (not beige)
Table in front of window looks wrong, move elsewhere.
4) dining room=fine
5) bed 1= hide away that bit of fitness kit.
6) bed 2= clear off the bedside unit, just leave an alarm clock.
bed 3= big thing at foot of bed-hide it, I dont know what it is.
7) bathroom= remove towel hanging on bath.
8) rear garden= fold washing line and slip a nice new green cover on it. Hide peg bag. Picnic bench may look slightly better on patio, maybe, try it.
I quite like it but can't afford it, good luck :rotfl:
Cheers keep them coming0 -
Thanks Incyder - really helpful advice.
If you have the spare bit of cash I would advise changing the kitchen door handles.
Sold my house last year and the wardrobe door knobs in one of bedrooms were a bit dated - bought a couple of multipacks of chrome ones from B&Q and really made a difference.
May just look a bot more modern.0 -
The storage heaters put me off immediately. I wouldn't even contemplate a viewing - but that's just my opinion.0

Maybe put some potted plants out the back on the patio too??
Might be of some help?!0 -

>Any help greatly appreciated.<
My thought was size-wise it's a starter home for a yuppie or maybe 1st home for a couple who are on a decent wage. But while it's tiny, it's not that glitzy in the kitchen, no 'wow factor' if you will. Not a chance of selling to a couple with a child, e.g. where do you actually eat? Garden nice, again not child-friendly
If it was mine, I'd be thinking of lifting with some touches of luxury and at the price the kitchen and bathroom would have to be truly immaculate.0 -

Looks like a B&B done-up by a DIY enthusiast
Decor is all of a muddle of styles and colour and there's an odd mixture of "Granny" style curtains with a modern kitchen.
No en-suite for Bedroom 1 is a major negative, not even another toilet
Outside it horrid, looks like it's been left so an agressive dog can be chained up and left to poop all over the paving slabs0 -
whenever i look at a property online, and there are no pics of certain rooms, I always assume its because they must be grim!
If I were looking at it for myself, I'd think
1, where would I park.
2, Do you come straight into lounge from front door or is there a hall/porch?
3, Lounge is an odd layout, decor fine, although i'd have coffee table on rug, make the floor look bigger.
4, Immediatly I'm thinking needs a new kitchen, even if worktops and carcasses are fine. Seems small and cluttered, obviously not enough cupboard space if you have so much stuff on worktops.
5, Jet wash the patio, prune the bushes. thin out the pots.
Good luck!0 -

Really nice interior looking extremely well done but this surprised me as probably wouldn't have looked twice as looked a bit sad outside with no greenery. A few potted plant/tree near door would definitely give it curb appeal. To be honest felt back garden lacked personality.
The kitchen table seems to completely fill kitchen.
Hope that helps
