    Evening all!!

Was up early to walk the dog, had a good day at work, OH has had 2 more jobs come in :)
Went food shopping. Realised the GC really doesn't work for us as we never know when we will be flush or not. got some great bargains. Haddock reduced from £3.50 to 99p, lunch meats for 50p and some other bits and bobs. Have enough in to last a few weeks i think except for milk, bread and mustard! got stung by not reading the label properly, though the deoderant was on offer for 89p but i picked up the wrong sized tin!

Had a WW ready meal for dinner and OH got a chinese (our one little treat for the next couple of months!)

Hugs to all who need them

    xx

    Evening all,

Been a cold day here to-day but with a beautiful blue sky, so cheered me up a bit.

Cough nearly gone and OH back to his normal appetite...we had hake with green beans, mangetout and potatoes done in oven....sliced them with processor as it doesn't have a chip cutter, they were too thin really but tasted nice....we didn't eat the usual 4 potatoes we have with dinner, so planning on a Spanish omelette for breakfast!

JackieG...lots of positive vibes for to-morrow....thinking about it will be the worst bit, you will be fine once you get there...honestly.

Hope that all exams went well to-day and continue to do so.

    NPM...hugs for you and Noah.

JackieO....hope that DD gets one of the jobs she is having interviews for....best of luck to her, she is certainly trying.

Kerry is feeling so well that she has made bits of her 'lampshade' collar, would take it off but does stop her licking at her stitches, although it hasn't slowed her down in any way...stitches out on Saturday.

OH checked our oil to-day and we have still almost half a tank or 600l left, so I needn't order any more until next month...it has gone up in price, but think that if I can get away with 2 fills for the year I will be a very happy bunny, it was on almost night and day for the whole month of December.

Have started to knit cushion covers for my living room, the current covers are falling to pieces and as I have some wool that matches might as well get them done, will help stop the place looking like a tip...I hope!

Hugs to all who are feeling worried or not well

a late one from me again. Sunny but cold here today. Did my 1st ms job today, was nervous but think I did ok.

Os today usual dw & wm. Bacon & mushroom
risotto adapted from another recipe & done in oven. Also made weetibix cake whilst oven was on. Doesn't last very long in this house though. Need to have a good clean tomorrow, muddy pawprints everywhere.

Hello again, I've spent the last couple of days calming down after British Gas Home Care didn't show up for their guaranteed boiler service appointment on Monday and merely offered me an appointment in February, after three appointments cancelled at the last minute by them.
Irony of ironies, today was spent working from home but also waiting by the phone for the company who will be fitting a new boiler sometime to ring.... they are snowed under apparently.
The last Edwardian Farm was on the TV tonight, what an enjoyable programme that has been. The book is brilliant too - and has some good OS tips on cleaning, recipes, etc.
