Good morning! :hello:
I feel sooo tired this morning! We went to the beginners' ballroom/Latin dance class last night and it's caught up with me today! We learned the basic steps for the waltz, the cha cha cha and the foxtrot, all in an hour! And we didn't step on each other's feet.
It was really good fun so we're planning to go again next week.
We're going round my mum's for dinner on Friday night, and she said we'll all have to practise then!:rotfl:
Brought my breakfast and lunch into work (couldn't drag my bum out of bed today for porridge) Tonight I'm going to eat at the pub with my friend and we're going to do the pub quiz.
redruby - good luck to your DD and Julie67 - good luck to your DS
(((Hugs))) to you Jac, you can do it!
I take it the doctor was no help yesterday then Lou? Hope you feel better soon.
Right, better get on with some work now the rest of team have dragged themselves into the office *rollseyes* :rotfl: Hope everyone has a good day!0 -
Good luck to those with exams today!
Its freezing here again today, had to scrape even more ice off the car this morning. Its supposed to be even colder tomorrow. So just trying to dry the boys thermals at the mo.
Sent OH and boys with pack lunches today, went and bought some buns and potatoes as we've run out. Didn't have time to make any yesterday, as i've been busy all week.
I'm laid up today, well till my knee stops burning.
My knee cap decided to cave in on itself, so me and snips went flying on the icy roads. Luckily the cars slowed down, and some of the other parents helped me up and walked snips into school for me.
I was absolutely (and still am scared), could feel the bone grinding worse than ever. Maybe i'm just being paranoid, i have been since i broke my knee cap last june.
Think were having curry or chilli tonight. The two mysterious bags of frozen stuff are still defrosting. I think i saw a chick pea, but could be anything lol:rotfl:
Going to carry on maybe doing some sewing today. The house is totally wrecked and needs sorting but i just tried and leg tried to cave in again.:(0 -

Best wishes to all those still suffering from the various flu bugs, I recommend a cuppa, bicky and hot water bottle whilst on the sofa and with any gorgeous man you like on the telly!Oooh Hugh Jackman!!!!!!
Very icey here today, spent ages scraping the ice of the car and now the sun is shining brightly with lovely blue skies.
24 mins on exercise bike again last night with emmerdale and then cooked myself a tea! It was lovely, much better than toast.
Had porridge for breccy, tuna & cucumber sarnie for lunch and will have the same omelette for tea after emm.

Kitchen has been cleaned, office work has been done. Can't do any washing at the moment as washing machine broke yesterdayhave a man coming tomorrow to look at it, fingers and everything crossed he can fix it and we don't have to wait for a part.
Am very cold today, have had my gas and electric bills in, am no on a scheme where you submit your meter reading monthly and just paid for what you use. Was a little bit less than I thought but still too high
Chilli and rice for dinner tonight, not sure what to have for lunch but need something substantial as I am starving :rotfl:

Morning All
Definitely nippy here, but lovely and bright.:D
Kezlou ....Take care and don't push it. I know where you are coming from about knees, I really hope that I get put on the list this year but it depends on what the vascular surgeon says - if he puts me on warfarin or heparin it will be a no go, so I will have to wait until Feb 3 before I know anymore.
Jackieg... ((((Hugs)))) I am sending lots of positive vibes your way x
DH is home and has decided to have a potter in his shed.
I must get on my scooter and pop down to the Drs to pick up my prescription and get it filled, so that is what I am going to do when I sign off.
Dinner is gammon with cauliflower and broccoli cheese followed by a sugar free raspberry jelly mousseThose not on a diet can have a few chips with theirs.
Redruby , this is where I get a lot of my recipes from here
