My boss has just said that we are so ahead with our work that we may be 'twiddling our thumbs for some time'. I heard that as 'don't feel guilty for spending so much time on MSE this week...' ;):rotfl:

It reminds me of Sunday tea at home, bath night and we always had sandwiches, Battenburg cake and fruit with condensed cream watching 'Hart to Hart' I always loved Freeway the dog:T

Oooh bit like us, my mum would get her best china out, roast chicken sandwiches and home made sponge cake for pud with shed loads of cups of tea :D Bliss. When kids are older I might re-instate this ritual. Although I confess my memories are of Antiques Roadshow for some reason. We did watch Hart to Hart at some point, I ain't that young sadly ;)

ok i didnt think this through properly.... theres a reason they said to use a tin with a removable base :o:rotfl:

    Sorry I know I shouldn't laugh but :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Thankfully on the SW front I only paid £1.75 for a copied CD so not loads of money at a class or anything. I think I shall sort of use SW to inspire me to more healthy eating but I was using syns just for lunch and dinner never mind the naughty stuff :o
I dunno what came over me, I've said all along I can't diet as it makes me obsessive but for some reason I thought SW would be different. Eat slowly, savour my food and smaller portions I think needs to be my mantra. I KNOW this will work but I just don't know why I can't stick to it. I focus on the eat what you want part and not on the rest :o:o:o

    Edited to add:

Lou that looks LUSH and I don't even like Banoffee that much :o

was once told to put your knife and fork down between every mouthful. apparently your brain takes so long to register that it is full and by taking your time, you're giving your brain chance to do that. tried convincing alan of that but he wont have it...

    Hi folks,

Been MIA for a couple of days.EA rang to say a couple wanted to view the house yesterday,so lots (and lots) of swishing and swiping going on.Just before they arrived she rang again to say another couple wanted to come today. Can't believe it-nothing for months and then 2 two days running.Todays may want to come again tomorrow, yesterdays have put it at the top of their list, but have only just put theirs back on the market after it fell through at Xmas.

Tea is turkey from the freezer, roasties, and some stir fried veg, hm apple sauce and cranberry .The men have just arrived home so will put tea out in a mo.

I am meeting my old colleagues for lunch tomorrow
    ,so that will be nice.
Right better go,hugs to anyone in need.x

Re the pie can't you just keep it in the tin in the fridge, once it's served up into bowls etc who cares what it looks like ;)

    Evening all:j:j
Well ut was very cold here this morning and we also had a hard frost. Its been a couple of weeks since the last frost. Its also been quite warm here the last couple of weks. So can not complain really.

The twins have been to pre school this afternoon and are quite tired now so early night for them i think.

Corned beef hash for dinner tonight. Thgis meal is quick and easy to make but i dont really class it as a money saving meal. Have you all seen the price of tinned corned beef:eek:

Can i say good luck to people with exams and also to those of you with young people that are doing exams.

Well i hope that you all have had a good day. Enjoy your evening everyone:j:j
