    Morning/afternoon

Massive meltdown from DS this morning about getting ready for school. Ended up taking him in late:o. Once he calmed a little he gave a big list of problems at school.....noise, lights too bright, no one to play with, no help in pm, no playtime at pm so no time to flap:(.
Got him there and talked to his one to one....DS says he never tells them at school he is having probs as they are not his mummy and he just lkes to tell me.....have told him he must tell them too...he seems to hold it in there then let rip whe he gets home....but then when I speak to them they think he is doing ok in the main...they are getting a false impression:o. Autism team coming to school to see him next week and after emailing his consultant we have an appointment to see her plus behavioural psychologist in Feb:T
Anyhoo aside from that, catching up with washing, cleaning etc and making HM chicken pie for tea (DS fave;)) and some chocolate nests for his snack when he comes in.
I really just want to sit and read my book....after all the meltdown and wrestling with DS I feel exhausted:(
JackieG hugs for tomorrow hun......hope it goes well and take it easy:cool:

ooo your tooth sounds nasty tiredmum

Well just tried to answer the phone and my knee went again, great
    thats all i need.
Thanks everyone :) i'm right now still laid up on the front room chair watching telly.

Butterfly Hope you hear something soon. The hospital missed the break, so i was left for 2-3 weeks with a black flimsy splint thing that didn't help in the slightest. While my neighbour who had the same injury was up and in about, driving within three months. the lucky so so got treated straight away and had pins put in his knee. While i was with crutches for months and pinless.

Ally ouch didn't know that knee's would carry on being a nightmare:eek:. I got told 18-24 month's till healed.

Think i've pushed myself too far, especially the last couple of weeks, been rushing from place to place. Going to phone doctors up at end of the week, to make sure the physio starts up again.

I was supposed to pick up a snips friend today after school but i don't think i'm going to able to. I;ve text her, but haven't back from her yet. Just hope she gets in touch.

Poor Noah, i've had the same thing with snips, he won't tell the teachers anything only me.

Afternoon all, up stupidly late again- what's wrong with me?! Going to need an inventive breakfast/lunch as I'm out of bread and soy milk and just don't fancy anything :s
Today will be another 8 hours of revision, 2 loads of washing as need to do sheets, chase up my missing parcels that rubbish HDNL claimed to have delivered yesterday but definitely didn't! Undecided on dinner, probably something naff like... rice and mung beans? I can't wait until 4pm tomorrow when my exams will be over and I'll be "free" for a week before next semester.

    Afternoon all

    Another one sleeping in adelight:o

Will have lunch soon, as not been that long since brekky. Weetabix with Banana, sweetener 7 skimmed milk.

Showered, hair washed, and been to the local supermarket for DH essentials, I may be trying to lose weight but he has not problems and needs to keep his calories up:mad:, he is under orders to eat his biscuits /chocy in the kitchen while making the coffee so I do not see it:D

Good news I have lost a kilo since last week, 2.2 lbs in old money, not fantastic, but any lost is a bonus. I have worked out an 11 point bacon, egg and tomatoes with mushrooms and some bread, dry fried egg in non-stick pan (as normal), extra lean trimmed bacon, tomatoes fried in a tiny bit of Lurpak light, and 2 small slices of bread with Lurpak light scratched on and off, plus of course tomatoes which are 0 as are the mushrooms, just need to add the Lurpak, and will be having that for tea tonight, so with my 6 point brekky, have 14 points to share between lunch and a dessert. So if I stick with the sesame crispbread and cheese, followed by an apple I have 5 point to pay with for dessert.

Well yesterday, we re-arranged the furniture, but I wasn't happy with it so have re-arranged it back today. So far no luck with the Second hand people over existing settee beds, so we will wait a while and see what happens. One is prepared to look on Monday so will take that up and see what she offers.

Good Luck to all exam takers, that is the problem with the new GCSE set up, you keep taking bits all the time, good in one way, but DS felt he had been taking exams for years by the end of it.

Oh by the way, looks like we have the tail end of your weather coming our way, a few rainy days forecast, and temps may be down to 5C overnight.

Almost forgot, to those LCing, have you tried the Oopsies here as a bread replacement?

To anyone after a large SC, Argos are selling one off here

    ((hugs)) all round DG

Do you know what Candy as long as seeing Boo makes you happy then go for it. Enjoy your Boo time :D

Oh dear there seems to be a lot of people in pain or fed up, Lou, Tired Mum, Jackie, NPM, Kezlou. Big hugs to you all.

I'm late posting today due to Forest Schools. Got nice and muddy :D
No OS going on here, need to squeeze in my cleaning before school run. Been a bit slack on that score this week :o

Autism course was good last night, was nice to be able to chat in a small group with other parents in the same boat and the people running the course are very knowledgable so was able to pick their brains about a couple of things.

NPM - Poor Noah, he never seems to catch a break poor love. DS's support teacher told me of a two children (same family) who masked so well at school they didn't believe they had any issues  but they were uncontrollable at home.

Flutterby - I have a confession, I am rebelling against the SW diet :o I am starting to obsess about foods I can have, thinking about them all the time :o Not sure I'll be able to stick rigidly to SW as ultimately the depravation will make me fail (and it's not just the sweet stuff it's things like cheese ). Only my second day, how rubbish is that :o:o Ho hum will have to see how things progress.

JackieG - Deep breaths my lovely, you CAN do this xx

Hugs, spoons and high fives all round. Have a good afternoon OS or not.

  • Hello all,
    Just got in from work.
BM on and need to unload DW. Washing fairly up to date. Hopefully we can manage until Saturday.
I do need to make myself do a major declutter around this place. I am such a hoarder - keep things just in case they might be useful:(
Get well vibes to all the poorlies. NPM so sorry to hear about your morning. It appears that some schools are brilliant and do very well ASD children like my DGS's and other schools do not have staff that understand the children's needs at all. Hugs.
Best wishes to all exam takers. I am glad my exam days are over. It still grips my stomach when I see a hall set out with individual tables for exams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Right, need to get on. Bean goulash from the freezer with baked potatoes this evening so that's easy. Must remember to take out lentil lasagne for tomorrow as I will be home later, hugs to all that need or want them, Silver x

Bitsy, I've tried and failed Slimming World several times and end up doing the same as you, thinking about crisps, cheese and chocolate non-stop! And full-sugar soft drinks! I've managed to lose a few pounds lately just by trying to generally eat 'healthily' and I'm trying to do more exercise too. There's nothing I tell myself I can't have and I never crave full sugar drinks, I do have crisps but low-fat ones and I don't really eat that much chocolate/cake. Cheese is another matter though... :o:D
  • My boss has just said that we are so ahead with our work that we may be 'twiddling our thumbs for some time'. I heard that as 'don't feel guilty for spending so much time on MSE this week...' ;):rotfl:
