  • Went to Mr T's tonight. Got all the way there....and realised I'd left my purse in the kitchen :doh:Only made it back there before closing time by the skin of my teeth!! £47.39 spent.

DH got paid £20 less than I'd expected, but still have enough to make the overpayment. Also still need to cancel the sky insurance. Got my mum coming over tomorrow, so probably won't do it then.

Still need to go to L*dl in the morning to pick up their half price meatballs for next weeks mealplan.

    Meal plan for next week:

    Sun: Roast Lamb Dinner
Mon: Fillet Steak (from meat box), chips, peas & peppercorn sauce (need to look up a recipe for that)
Tues: Roasted sausages, red onions, wedges & beans
Weds: Spaghetti & meatballs, HM garlic bread
Thurs: Lamb cutlets, boulangere potatoes & green beans
Fri: HM Chicken curry, rice & naan bread
Sat: Out at a wedding reception

A bit meat heavy this week. Will make up for it next week - but still using all that lovely meat from the meat box.

  • Had a fantastic save in Wilko's today. Went in to look at baking trays, as mine are rather worn and peeling. Didn't find any I liked, but on the way out DH saw some end of line paint reduced to £2 a tin. As I'm decorating the kitchen during my week off for half term, we grabbed 4 tins. They went through the tills at 13p each :T :rotfl:.

Cooked the chicken balls tonight, they were lush, and just like the real thing as was the egg fried rice. The sauce was dreadful though and won't bother with that again. Have frozen the rest of the batter that I didn't use, hopefully it will be ok for next time.

Not got to the gym yet, as I'm still waiting for the details to come through the post :(

    Parents - £4000/£0 paid
    OH parents - £9000/£0 paid

    Mortgage - £125,000/£0 overpayments
  • Thanks DB

Planning on making £500 pm payments to barclaycard...so about £440 a month overpayment to begin with. That's unless anything unexpected comes up

Had lovely roast lamb today...no leftovers tho ;)

Made banana bread for tea and for lunch boxes, and made more bread.

Made another order to BB4L for £20.59, inc 2 cases choc dips, 4 x 3.5kg bags bread mix, 6 x jars rogan josh curry paste, 12 x bottles salad cream, 2 x packs milky bars (for party) and kitchen rolls

Should last us a while, but needed the bread mix :rotfl:
