  • Thanks. I might put it on the OS boards after 18th March, to use up what's left.

Took kids to the cinema this morning to see Alice in Wonderland in 3d, through that sky rewards. We just got upstairs when an usher came out and said that the film was broken, and would we like to choose another 3d film to watch instead. So me, the 2 boys and DS6's friend all watched Gnomeo & Juliet in 3d, we all got glasses, and they got a PE type bag each, filled with balloons and other assorted tat, and it still only cost me the original £5 that I paid online :D. Took our own sweets in too, maltesers which were 2 bags for £2 in T$scos, and I'm glad I did as they were £2.70 each in the cinema . Came home for lunch, and have just finished baking another batch of about 40 twinks which hopefully will last til after the weekend, but I doubt it somehow :rotfl:So quite as MSE day after all.

Not looking forward to going back to work on Monday :(

2 loan payments gone out this morning. But I forgot to add in the interest on DH's abbey loan for the last 2 months, so it seems like we haven't paid that much off at all.

Been to my weekly bingo night at the local social club, and have come home having won 4 tin of soup, a chicken lattice, and £23 :j:j:j. And I still have over £10 of my weekly pocket money left. Now I could be good and deduct this from the amount transferred to cash on Fri so I can pay more debts off, or I could treat myself........hmmmmmmm...........thing is, I cant think of anything I want at the mo :D

DS's 7th birthday today, so leaving work early :j. He got up at stupid o'clock and I gave him the little sets of lego I'd got off ebay. He was well chuffed and we made a few before work. Will give him his main prezzie when DH gets home. Then HM chicken balls for tea, as he asked for chinese for his birthday.

Payment of £58 went out yesterday to MBNA, hopefully the PPI has been cancelled and this is paying more off the debt. Will have to wait for the statement on the 8th.

Should be paying £410 off Bcard this month (£330 overpayment), hopefully will be more, but will have to see how much DH gets paid on the 11th.

A few more things crossed off my freezer list, and have got everything for the party tomorrow for under £12 :T

Mum's having her operation today to sort out a blockage in her bile duct. The CT scan revealed a mass on her liver and we should get the result in a few days as they are also taking a biopsy today.

I'm going up to visit tomorrow. The nearest hospital with a specialist is in central london, so I won't be paying back as much as I originally planned, as a return fare and travelcard is £22 off peak. Luckily work are being nice about it, as visiting hours finish at 7, and there's no way I could get there in time after work. I'll just have to see how she is as to whether or not I go up again before the weekend. Hopefully she'll be out on Friday, if not I will go up again on Sat.

On a more positive note, DH has just been told that they are getting a 4% payrise, backdated to the beginning of March. Payment to bcard loan went out today, so another £100.64 off the debt.

    Thanks guys.

Been to see Mum today, she's a bit jaundiced and will probably have to stay in til next week. Bless her, she knows we're always a bit skint and one of the first things she asked me was how much my ticket was, and that she'd give me a cheque to cover it when she got out. Hopefully she'll have forgotton about it when she gets out, as I don't want her worrying about me when she's got more important things to worry about. She's got other people going everyday now up til sunday, so will go again next week.

Won £2 at bingo last night and nothing on the raffle. Oh well, jackpot has rolled over and is £90 next week.

Had a letter today from the mortgage company. Our fixed rate has finished so we've now been put back to their variable rate until we choose a new deal if we want one. Don't think we'll bother at the mo, as the payment has gone down from £453 to £382 pm, so a £70 saving. Will do something if the interest rates shoot up though

Our price fix with british gas comes to an end this month, so we've switched to an online deal. Should save us about £135 a year.

Spent a bit of money this weekend, but I should still be able to make a payment to bcard of £500, and an overpayment of £25 to MBNA.

Had to buy DS13 some new clothes and trainers as he was looking a bit of a scruff .

Then this morning I went for my gym induction. That's cost me £65 for 10 weeks. It's a reduced rate as it's through my GP after I gave up smoking. I'm hoping to lose the one and a half stone I put on since November . Nearly crawled out of there this morning...........I am so unfit :o

My daughter phoned this evening saying she wants me to do the race for life with her, so I best get some serious training sessions in.
