why would you sign up to something on the phone, set up a direct debit, then once you get your welcome pack/ online access details, NOT check a thing?
i will refer you to the legal case of consumer rights vs consumer sense.

Just looked on O"'s site, it clearly states all packages are subject to fair usage policy.

It also funny enough says "3 months free with 12 month contract" Anyone thinking what I am kinda sorta thinking?
I'm thinking that its a remarkable coincidence that, come month 4 (the first paid month), the OP wants to be able to get out of paying the rest of the contract.

Am I in the same ballpark?

Excuse me folks, I need to go and make a complaint about that cereal I had for breakfast. Turns out it was cheaper than I thought it would be after I'd gobbled it all up nicely...I'm only left with a few crumbs now.
This post was brought to you from the vortex of a human psyche, it was approved by my poor judgement. :T
  • Well you are no one to judge me. Mr right. Coul you provide me with a company that legally broadcasts football with Russian coments?
Is it illegal now to watch ITV player or BBC Player as well.

Those are very old soviet films free of author rights. But that is not your business anyway as I don't have to explain anything to you

Well you seemed to have posted on an open forum about your problems and you have explained yourself already.
so ill reply to what i want..

Did you fail to read your contract and now dont want to pay is that it?

The problem is that I was never sent any contract or any confirmation of which package I have signed for so I was under impression that I was on the right one and as first 3 months were free(though I still have to pay for their landline rental), I would obviously not able to see wether I am charged a wrong or right ammount until they would charge for a first time.

In regards of me trying to cancell after 3 months free period, I have in fact mentioned that I dont mind going on their monthly contract package, which is more expensive

£5 for 20 gigs of films! 28 pence per film. Not possible. What is the name of this bargain-basement films distributor?

    I bet it's pr0n

Guys, it's not important what the films were, beyond the fact that I personally would like to see a load of Soviet-era movies and use them for mash-ups if they're really copyright free, which is why I ask. OP's point about not noticing he was on the wrong package for 3 months *because* it was a free trial sounds feasible. And he wants to upgrade. That said, the contract will stand.

It is in Russian, so I don't think it would be any useful for you.

But you're hoping to have three months of free internet followed by the flexability of a monthly contract due to the planned impending move.

I think the most you can hope for is a credit for one month's internet that you've been partially unable to use through their error, effectively giving you another chance at your third month of free internet, leaving you with eight more months of internet to pay for.
