O2 Broadband - Cheaters

That's correct! as YOU agreed to a 12 month contract with O2!
I does not look like you have read my post properly so don't see that a broadband was missold as they put me on a wrong package. I have never had what I've signed for so I don't feel I have to comply with the contract I have never signed0 -
But the speed and download capacity was fine - you were not affected for three and a half months. They have offered to switch you to a more appropriate package. Your original contract remains until 1 Nov this year. Other than a blip of inconvenience there does not seem to be any reason to break the contract. No unlimited broadband is unlimited as you seem to want it defined (even those that are (such as O2 before Nov last year (or are still today for continuing customers - that unlimited can be changed at any time)).
£280 over two days on films is a hefty whack. Hope you weren't too indiscriminate and they are worth the price.0 -

I have never paid such a money £5 was the price. I have agreed that I am going ahead with unlimited broadband if I was told there is a limit, I would not go for it0 -
£5 for 20 gigs of films! 28 pence per film. Not possible. What is the name of this bargain-basement films distributor?0

Has anyone got anything useful to say about original post?0

If you are planning on moving soon, why would you sign up for a 12 month contract where you would be obligated to pay for broadband plus line rental?
Surely those who are in the process of moving don't tie themselves in to potentially unnecessary contracts? Why would whomever you're moving in with have to go and cancel their existing arrangements? I'm confused.
O2 put you on the cheapest package, so all you need to do is upgrade it and problem solved? As others say all broadband is subject to fair usage policy anyway.
To have downloaded 20Gb of data within a couple of days and then try and get out of your contract and say you are moving to a new address....seems...odd.
Surely if you signed up in November you would have seen in your agreement what package you were on when they sent you the details, you could have sorted it out then? This post was brought to you from the vortex of a human psyche, it was approved by my poor judgement. :T0 -

I did not expect to move out soon, however the place proved to be to terrible to stay here for a year. Everything has been done over the telephone and I was told they are puting me on All Rounder. I was only sebt a few emails, saying I will get connected soon, however no confirmation of what package I am going for, othervice I would have noticed that straight away. You all guys miss that I was provided with a service, different to a one I have agreed0 -

To be honest it's a !!!!!!!g mess. Sounds like you're trying to get out of your 12 month contract as you are flitting (thanks Kim...!) to somewhere that has free BB included in the rent?0 -
How much are you paying to O2 for the service you claim you did not agree to?0
