I'm in the same boat, ordered 24/2/16 and no glasses and they are not replying to messages. They are a joke.
Worse still is as has been said that MSE are not doing/saying anything and even worse they still have the deal listed. Absolute joke if you ask me!0 -
Has anyone actually received their order from this offer? I ordered on the 3rd Feb and have sent messages via the website, each time they reply with the same message and new dates for delivery, here's the last one:
Thank you for your email.
We'd like to take this opportunity to apologise for the slight delay in processing your order. As you may already be aware, this promotion was featured on Money Saving Expert and as a result we've had thousands of orders.
We're aiming to dispatch your glasses to you inbetween 21st - 24th of March. We appreciate that this isn't ideal however, we're confident that you will be happy with our products when they arrive.
Should you wish to discuss this with us, please feel free to contact us on 08448 20 20 20.0 -
WHY,WHY,Why are MSE recommending this supplier, please mse remove them. They seem to be unable to deliver, or deliver in a reasonable time.
Only decided to order as it was recommended, really disappointed.
Had to sent prescription copy, but still awaiting update from them
Specky four your eyes only, not for us.
It must be upsetting many stalwork mse followers.:grouphug: Threewheeler0 -
Further to my last, Specs have arrived today, Ordered 3/3/16.
Thought I would not get them, so apologies to them, pity they took sooooo loooooong to process the order.:grouphug: Threewheeler0 -
Just to add I ordered on. 8th March and have recieved no glasses although apparently one pair has been dispatched. No answer to email.
More suprised mse recommend them and given the level of complaints perhaps mse could contact them and seek reassurance that order will be fulfilled.====================================================

Further to a couple of posts earlier:
Price of Glasses:
I bought a pair of the Asda Varifocals a few weeks ago (as an experiment) and the till receipt showed the £40 cost as:
Frame £3.28 + £6.72 dispensing cost = £10
Lens £4.92 + £10.08 dispensing cost = £15 for each lens.
VAT is included in the frame and lenses, no VAT on dispensing cost.
Curious.
They work OK too.
They mean I can now read my watch in the street and know exactly how late the bus is.
Sunglasses:
I've just ordered a couple of pairs of sunglasses from Glasses Direct using the £22 mse code. Code accepted no problem.
They are in the lab as I write but, given past experience, should be with me in a few days.
They've now arrived OK and work well. I chose the gold cowboy frames which, I think, suits the sunglasses well:cool:0 -
Do not use reglazemyglasses.com
They have lost 1 pair of the 2 pairs of glasses I sent them. Their customer service and administration are very poor. Two weeks after receiving the first pair back, there is no sign of the second pair I sent in the same box. Despite multiple phone calls and emails, Reglazemyglasses.com are doing nothing to find my other pair or compensate me for the loss of an expensive pair of frames.0 -

Thanks for the update, I've always been reluctant to trial varifocals but at this price it must be worth a go.0 -

The MSE code runs out tonight, and is not working for me.
I've chosen 2 x £55 frames (not boutique), and chosen all the things and dark tints.
I've entered the MSE code with no spaces, and it shows as accepted, but does not reduce the total - It's charging £58.95.
I've tried clearing cookies, can anyone suggest anything else please?I Hate Jobsworths!!!0 -
My first tip in these circumstances is to try a different browser.0
