I'm having problems with the discount given in this week's newsletter for the Glasses Direct site. The discount is supposed to be £30 off but when I apply the discount code it doesn't take off any money. I go through to the final page where I enter my payment details and the £30 still hasn't come off. The newsletter said that the discount expires tomorrow and I really want to get these glasses for my dad who hasn't had a new pair for years and can't afford them normally.

Can anyone help (fairly urgently)?!

I've decided to just order them, and argue with them later over it. Have emailed them with my order ref and explained that the discount code was accepted but did not apply any discount.

Can the moderators of the forum assist at all?

I used the code okay on Friday, I ordered two prescription pairs, got one of them free plus the £30 off so I am very pleased. I think if its not working anymore it may be because lots of people have applied it, but that's no excuse. I suggest you try again today (last day of the the code) and if it still isnt taking it off the final price give them a ring. I have had specs from this company before and have been delighted with them. They got mine right first time but my husband has been unlucky they have sent the wrong prescription both times he has ordered from them so if you do buy from them and they arent quite right, contact them and arrange to return them. That said they have been very quick to put things right for him. Regards Polly

Placed the order yesterday with the code entered but incorrect amount showing. Called them this morning and £30 was refunded no problems.

good experience so far, forgot to apply tint to one pair emailed and had a response within minutes, fantastic.

Only Issue I had was wanting sunglasses but the sunglasses frames not being available for home trial. any reason for this?
I've ended up with the same frames as sunglasses and am just hoping theyre large enough lenses to actually be of use as sunglasses.

The missus' mum was looking for new glasses so I pointed her your direction
