i was driving along a country lane it was 60mph and i came around the corner bearing in mind it was 4 o clock so getting dark
around the corner i find a couple of mobility scooters with no lights!!!!!!!! side by side taking up most of the road i was probably travelling at 40 - 50 ish and the only thing i could opt to do was to swerve around them ( i figured braking would be a bad idea judging by their speed and my speed and the distance they were away) but it resulted in my mounting the verge loosing a mirror glass and scratching the entire length of my car from the hedge)
im not fussed about the car but I imagine they were talking about me all night saying what a lunatic i was and that i should be banned.
are these thing actually allowed on the road one was 4 wheel and the other was 3 - and on a national speed limit road?0 -

Probably your fault I'm afraid - you must be able to stop in the distance you can see to be clear.0 -
it probably was my fault but when you cant see them anyway
but my question really was are they allowed on the road with no lights
i thought vehicles should have lights0 -
May all change with the incident where the pensioner died having been run over and killed by one.0
-
at least make them have lights i was gonna call the police so perhaps they could escort them home so they were visable
then thought theres not much point as they will be home by the time the police get there or someone else will have flattened them0 -
I don't need to justify my comments, I am telling you that you are wrong, that's all.
Take it or leave it.
Oh yes you do, unless you want to see your credibility go down the pan (though I rather suspect it went in that direction a long time ago)."You should know not to believe everything in media & polls by now !"

Nothing has changed, some test centres do not have easy access to NSL roads, that is why you may not have been taken on one.
http://www.ukadi.co.uk/2010/03/dual-carriageways-on-test.htmlYou can expect to have to drive on dual carriageways on most UK driving test routes, so here is a reminder of the rules and tips to bear in mind during the 40 minutes assessment with the dsa examiner. The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0 -
