If you're incapabable of using your mirrors, indicitating & manouvering past a car going 50mph on a motorway then I suggest that it's you who is the danger on the road & shouldn't be driving & not me! As for the lorry comment all lorrys have limiters that doesn't allow them to go more the 56mph which is fine cos on a clear road I can go up to 60mph!thescouselander wrote: »I'm sorry but you are an idiot. In good conditions 50 mph is too slow on the motorway. Do you realise the trouble this sort of behaviour causes? You will be forcing wagons into the middle lane to get past you which means the majority of motorway traffic (travelling at the speed limit) has to now pass in only the third lane (if there is one). I imagine this is a bit of a nightmare for lorry drivers when going up hill to.
You are a danger and shouldn't be on the road. Please, for everyones safety, go and get some additional driver training.
I've yet to see a policeman do a motorist for doing 50mph on a motorway so please tell me how I need additional training?0 -
That's physics and has nothing to do with how you drive your car.
Physics has nothing to do with driving a car.... That's a new one

Stop trying to be clever and turn it around.
Your quote "To every action there is always an equal and opposite reaction" has nothing to do with how anyone drives their car.

I think Bronwian motion in your case.0 -
Only ever had to deal with one pillock who I overtook legally and safely, then he would overtake me and slow down again. After he had done it a few times. I saw a snack van, stopped had a cup of coffee and a bacon butty, and gave myself a few miles between us!
Getting angry only helps in you becoming a less attentive driver!0 -
Indeed, I agree, but we are human after all and the frailties of such means that we re-act when challenged. The world is full of enough rudeness and inconsiderate behaviour, it is not a surprise that some people get to stage where they have had enough. I am not condoning it, just explaining why some people get to that stage. Some people have lower tolerances than others.Sorry, any driver that gets in to a rage by the action of others is not fit to be on the road.
We have to share our road space with others, getting in to a rage helps nobody. The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0 -

Anybody that cannot control their anger, really should not be driving..simples..

This is my point, if everyone drove slower & chilled out a bit more motorists would become less stressed meaning the chances of getting road rage are greatly reduced! Like I said earlier when I drive on DC & Motorways I simple switch to Classic FM get to around 50mph & chill! Believe me try it you'll feel a lot more happier :TIndeed, I agree, but we are human after all and the frailties of such means that we re-act when challenged. So how do you react to them?
They have a problem with rage, they believe you are driving below the speed limit just to annoy them and the feel it is your fault they are in a rage?
They are obviously not reasonable, and their low tolerence is now becoming something I have to deal with calmly?0
