    Evening all!
jackieo, what a... (hmm how can i put this delicately?) nasty man!
halight, i am so silly i never twigged you're a bloke :rotfl:

My day is so confused: was revising/watching tool academy until 2am, then as I was getting ready for bed got locked into a five hour phone call! Ended up going to bed at 8am, then getting up at 1 and have been reivising since. I'm suddenly (at the last minute- typical!!) having loads of progress with this awful work so I won't complain about the lack of sleep and shall keep at it until i drop tonight and repeat again tomorrow!
Flatmates have been in the library all day and I'm loving the freedom! Going to make dinner to the tune of cheryl cole which I'd normally get ripped apart for :p

JackieO what a horrible borrible man, I am sure someone else on here had a similar problem at a job interview last year. I didn't think people like that still existed

I had something to say to someone else, but my head's still sore and I can't remember. It was JC......I'll go look and be back.:o

EDIT no it wasn't it was Julie - congrats on the grandbaby news :)

Hugs to Candy, take it easy and rest your body and mind xxx

Only read this page so will take a look at the others in a moment. Good day at work, got lots done. Lovely easy tea Half price pasta meal from M&S with peas (extra veg) and garlic bread from freezer. Not very OS but quick and easy. I made some buns while the oven was on, DS is going to ice them for me. Going to help DS3 with his learning log, then bath for me.

    Enjoy your evening.

no it isn't! try 28g porridge - much more filling and add some fruit, only takes 2 mins in the micro or 2 weetabix. Add a banana and its much better.

Bitsy/tappers - I have 'magic' porridge - 28g of oats mixed with a fat free yogurt, leave overnight for the oats to absorb the yogurt, add fruit in morning if you want to. This way you don't use your HEA on milk ;). I don't like porridge with water :(. Or you can have couscous with fat free yogurt instead for a free breakfast! But I've not tried that yet :rotfl:. I find magic porridge fills me up til lunchtime

Today flew by in work again :) visited my remote office where I'll be based with my next group of work kids for next 3 months. It's only 30mins away from normal office. Took the student with me and I got to know her a bit more, she seems lovely. We also had a new staff member start today, he seems to have fitted in well too!

My ex-colleague with the brain tumour came in for a visit today :D he is doing quite well and we had a good catch up. He had appointment at hospital this afternoon to find out the next step in his treatment (tumour is benign, half has been removed already but was too big to take all out in one go). He text me to say that he will need 2nd op in about 4months time but the prognosis is good :).

Came home and did workout DVD. Then had phonecall from a travel agent with a quote for my flights to NZ this year. I can do Hong Kong, Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland and Singapore for £1400 which seems quite good :D Just need to magic up some pennies!

I have to do some uni work after dinner, so not in the mood (thanks for the FB comment Jackieg!!) but will make myself do it.

!!!!!! all OS here, well made pasta bake for tea that's all :o

Lovely bright day today-it's amazing how much better we feel when the sun shines isn't it?

Quick meal of meatballs this evening bought in 3 for £10 meat offer before New Year and popped in the freezer. Still some more didn't use them all, had them with pasta and a jar of ready made sauce(blushes). Well I did work today!

Bit tired as we've been busy at work since we came back in January......!

    See you tomorrow.

Been a cold damp day here, no rain, just damp :(

Went to bed very very early last night so therefore was up very very early this morning. Was pleased to find that I had made chilli and put in the SC, made egg mayo for my jacket spud for lunch, had a shower and it was only 6.15. Was then on a roll, hooved all though, washed kitchen floor. Left early so I could go to the library before work.

After that it all went downhill  have had to use a different pc at work, its the only one our automated clocking in system works on, its on one of those old workstation things, errr why did we ever think they were a good idea? I have my chair at the highest it will go but still have to look up at the monitor, therefore my neck and shoulders are screaming at me tonight grrrr.

JackieO I too had an interview like your DD, went on and on about women should stay at home, you can't take time off if your kids are ill, it ended with him saying, we are all men here, do you think you could cope with us, I said if you had read my cv properly you would see that I have worked at a playschool for 3 years, I can't see the difference between toddlers and men, am sorry you have wasted my time and walked out!

((hugs)) for the poorlies, sorelies and those who need one. Have a good evening. cyas soon xxx
