    Morning all,

Was raining heavily here first thing, but seems to have cleared now, will shove the washing on the line for a good airing.

DD off on a study day, she is just having some breakfast and will then hit the books, I need to tidy round down stairs, and hoover, I then need to nip to the bank for my second job, as I have loads of money to bank for them.

Dinner tonight will be salmon new potatoes and veg, I won't have a spuds, and a limited amount of veg, off to have my egg and bacon for breakfast, and I will have mackeral salad for lunch.

    Have good days all xx

Well, given myself a good talking to after missing the WW weigh in and despite my temporary fall from grace:o the scales still show 4 lb off this morning(yes I know you weigh less in the morning) but I am going from there.

Another good week and should have a good weight loss next Monday

Now just to decide crocheting or pork casserole. Cooking first I think then I can chill:)

Got to say 28g of Cheerios is sooooooo not enough for breakfast

no it isn't! try 28g porridge - much more filling and add some fruit, only takes 2 mins in the micro or 2 weetabix. Add a banana and its much better. I usually have eggs, beans, tomatoes or spaghetti on some WW brown danish toast - looks much more and is satisfying.:)

    Julie - well done:T

another week till payday - so trying to make my cash stretch a bit. Its the petrol that seems to take most of it because no matter how thrifty you are you just have to buy it and cant do it cheaply.
    Do what you love :happyhear
  • Morning All,

Icy here this morning, it took an age to scrape the car before school, and then "my" car started making an horrendous noise, so I had to scrape the other one which was even worse, which meant the boys were late:( Then coming home I skidded up the hill that leads to my street and as I turned right into my street the car skidded so that the passenger side was sitting side on to the road  thank goodness no one was leaving our street! Still need to check the other car and see what the noise was, I think it may be the suspension - the potholes are terrible up here after the winter.

Anyway :) Well done you lot on the weight losses, and Mr BB too ;)

I have a pot of minestrone on the hob, and we'll be having flatbreads with it for lunch and freezing it in portions I think after that. Dinner tonight is roasted tomato and red pepper risotto.

Hugs for everyone in need. Jackie I will be thinking of your family and friends today.

    Hello OS Friends,
I would also like to add my condolences to those floating around the ether for Jasmine's family and friends xxx My DD is 18 so very close to home - like it is for lots of us.

I have had such a bad night and ended up waking up Kids Dad and DD. Not good as she has two exams today :eek::eek:. I ended up taking mind altering drugs for the pain and had the most vivid dream that I was a ghost. In some respects it was quite good fun but very sad in another as I wanted to talk to Kids Dad and obviously he couldn't see me:eek::eek::eek:. Im ok with it now as talked to Kids Dad about it but feel sorry for him as he is so tired - at least he works at home a lot and is today so no long commute.

Ok OS - I was very busy yesterday. I dusted and sorted clothes as well as washing the throws etc that had a distinct dogginess about them. Today is very quiet as Im so tired and have two hospital appointments tomorrow but slowly washing is getting done.

    Hugs xx
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Good morning all! i can't remember the last time i posted in here so thought i would do a quick update!

Im off sick at the moment and am going swimming under doctors orders. Its been a few months (since I swam( and im struggling making myself get out the door!

    Old style highlights

    * I got a veggie lasgane whoopsied for 10p last night!:j:D
    * I've gathered up my preset wrapping hoard that was all over the house - it's now all in one place with my recycled paper and gift bags and boxes. Mainly all from My Mum and i can't bear to throw them out so reuse :) She spends a fortune on stuff like that , bless her
    * I've cleared the cupboard in the kitchen full of carp, and finally made myself a craft cupboard
    * Im back to knitting and have nearly finished a very long scarf for myself. Its made from dark pink, light purple, deep purple, and an egg blue kind of colour. So satisfying seeing it get longer and longer.
    * Im building up to making a sticky ginger cake - i need to cook it then leave it two days to stickify EEK! Going to do that tonight. Had to get flour as I ran out yesterday - not like me!

not much else to report. Ive paid out £200 in the past week on unblocking the drains, and getting the gas boiler fixed. It still needs £200 more of work, so it's not a great situation but ill just have to find the money

Right, off to drag myself to the pool - wish me luck and ill check back in later

    Zip :)X

  • Morning everyone! :hello:

    JackieO - what a terrible tragedy :(

JackieG - the roads sound treacherous up there!

    Lou - Save me a slice! ;)

It's a bright day here, but feels quite cold out. I had a NSD yesterday and picked up some freebies in Tesco so that was good. :)

I've also been comping like mad (and doing some work in between!) :o:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Brought in HM lunch today - and have done so all year so far! :D

Dinner tonight will be something quick like pasta as me, DH and my mum and stepdad are going to a beginners' ballroom/Latin dance class, should be a laugh if nothing else! :p

Hope everyone has a good day. :)
