Morning everyone! :hello:
JackieO - what a terrible tragedy
JackieG - the roads sound treacherous up there!
Lou - Save me a slice!
It's a bright day here, but feels quite cold out. I had a NSD yesterday and picked up some freebies in Tesco so that was good.
I've also been comping like mad (and doing some work in between!):rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Brought in HM lunch today - and have done so all year so far!
Dinner tonight will be something quick like pasta as me, DH and my mum and stepdad are going to a beginners' ballroom/Latin dance class, should be a laugh if nothing else!
Hope everyone has a good day.0 -
sleety rainy snowy stuff falling here. I am off to eat my soup and warm up.

BB - I'm so sorry for your DH at having to give up his pigeons(((hugs))), I know from experience that they take over the mens lives, my DH tried to give them up once but didn't last 2 weeks before he had to start again. Is there no room where you're going?Do what you love :happyhear0 -
Good afternoon all,
What a start, am very late today but have an excuse, had to do some work at work today iykwim.
Was very sad to hear about Jackies news, life is way too short nowadays so we have to make the best of it whilst we can. I work, unfortunately, in an area where loss of life is far too frequent as I mentioned yesterday, though I have to say, I am also extremely proud to do so.
Well, last night when I got home, I spent all of emmerdale on the new exercise bike so well chuffed. So tired though that I ended doing my usual and just had toast for tea. Must make an effort!
The milk I took out of the freezer yesterday still looked like it will explode this morning so left it out on the drainer today. Had cocoa pops for breakfast, yoghurt and cuppa soup again for lunch but will def have omelette for tea with mushrooms and stilton cheese!
How on earth do you all find the time to do such a lot of housework before you go out to work in a morning, it beats me. I raise my hands to you all who can do this. I can only just get myself showered, dressed and breakfast done.
Had to scrape the car this morning as it was iced up quite a bit however, blue skies and sunshine at the moment here. Makes me feel happier just to see that.
Exercise bike again tonight with emmerdale, will take out food from freezer for tomorrow to use with green potatoes in basket.
Can they poison you when they are green?
Have a good day everyone.0 -
