This site is a new site and is covered by CCTV in the parking area, thats how we know who was driving, where they parked, how long they were there, the signage etc.
As the the BPA Appeals Process, you say it does not exist - I refer you to the location of it.

You must realise that the aforementioned Mr. Perkins inhabits his own little world called Planet Perky which bears no relation to actual real life.
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?

He has got a face only his mother could love!

    Looks like a Bulldog chewing a wasp!:D
  • Good old Perky, he has probably jumped in with his two big feet and assumed it is his company involved. He really thinks he owns the world. There are of course many private parking companies that use CPS as their initials (nothing about trying to misrepresent authority, dontcha know).

Angewick can you confirm the name of the private parking company involved?

I must say that this thread has made me wonder how a complaint to the local licencing authority might go - After all, a landlord uttering misleading tickets (Section 40 for one) tickets or allowing an agent to issue them on a site might well fall well below the standards required to maintain the licence?

I cant comment on that case, but if the person did have to travel x miles, and spend night in hotel (how anyone would know that is beyond me) but all these are fully claimable from the other party.

700 miles@40p Per mile = £280, plus other stuff and it was an expensive day for the loser.

    As usual a bit disingenuous.......

They are not at all 'fully claimable'...you're limited to £52 for the lost days work in attending court, they also typically won't get the full £280 for mileage. I'm not even sure the hotel is allowable.

Our sites with CCTV are specifically set so we can see drivers etc..

How convenient that this took place at your own shop's car park....

A nice little earner when the trade is a little slow.
