Our sites with CCTV are specifically set so we can see drivers etc..
If you don't believe me then a recent court case used this as evidence and the driver was easily spotted.

It would not be any point having CCTV if you couldn't see anything would it !!

    REMOVE THE SPACES !!

Ah, yes ... I am sure you will say that Judge got it wrong as well, just like all the others :rotfl:

Oh behave. Look at the date of the paper article, April last year !

How many thousand's of ticket's have been sent since then and ignored?

You really do come across as desperate now. Can you not come up with something from this year apart from one of your lot travelling hundreds of miles to take a severely disabled guy on who was too ill to defend himself then actually losing money in the process with the price of fuel now.

The word imbecile's spring's to mind.

You are LOSING money hand over fist and you do not like it one bit, tough.

  • I cant comment on that case, but if the person did have to travel x miles, and spend night in hotel (how anyone would know that is beyond me) but all these are fully claimable from the other party.

700 miles@40p Per mile = £280, plus other stuff and it was an expensive day for the loser.

As for the comment about site, we only had 1 managed pub go live within the last 2 weeks and they only issued tickets on 2 days - Also with a college opposite doesn't take too much working out.

Well, must say I am bored of this now and got a flight to board but once again its been fun.

I would also add that the next 12months will be very good for PPC - there will be changes coming that will benefit the industry and ensure that ALL people who refuse to pay goto court and a shift on liability, listen out for it later in year (after summer break)

See you soon, the VS011 is at last call and its a long walk from the virgin lounge to the gate - Happy arguing !

The trouble with Perky is that he cannot grasp the difference between the RK and the driver. If you ever receive one of these threatograms all you have to do is to reply saying "I admit I am the registered keeper, but you will have to take this matter up with the driver. As you are fully aware, I am not obliged to tell you the identity of the driver."

I bet if the RK in the above Shropshire case had done that it would never have got to court.
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?

Considering the amount of these charges they give out like confetti, they are always going to get some people who walk into a possible court case. They will win some by default, poor defence, or a funny handshake!:D

If they were so successful we would see or hear of a lot more.
