Vodafone are a joke

I need your guys Advice on this im getting really Pi**ed off with Vodafone.
my contract is up with them and i told them to cancel my deal due to them not doing the deal i found with orange which i ordered.
the cancellation was joke to start one said it would be done in 7 days then about an hour later i was told it would be 2 months and then a few days later i got another letter saying within 30 days!
but then i got the call.... oh yes Mr Andrewash we will do that package for you and we will Def have it to you tomorrow so i accepted knowing i could cancel the other one and post it back and no messing with changing numbers and paying the cancellation fees and also a free blue tooth head set (which i said i didnt want!!). the other phone arrived on time but the vodafone one failed!! so ok i can live with a failed delivery i use to work in call centres one is ok it happens! but to then be told it was out of stock and it would never be delivered!! this annoyed me so i asked to cancel again and i was told i couldn't untill it arrived and deliver would be in on the coming Thursday (2days)
2 days passed i didn't hear anything called them again and the said still out of stock and it was again never going to be delivered on this date! you can Imagen i was upset and they then told me the head set and the phone are out of stock and and will be with me "in a few days" so no def delivery date! at this point i was asked to escalate and was told no you need to send an email and a replay will happen in 48 hours and they will pay my February Bill :mad::mad::mad::mad: which i did send and no reply... surprise surprise!
so against my better judgement i sent back the other phone which cost me £6 to send back (cheap gits but thats somthing else) so now i havent got a phone and im out of pocket for their !!!! up and i didnt want to be stuck with two contacts running side by side.
yesterday 16th i got an SMS saying your order has been dispached and will be delivered 17th (today) like the prev two days come 5.55pm this evening i called them only to be told....again!! its not going to be delivered :mad::mad: some mistake has been made it "might" be with you tomorrow?!?!? again no options to escerlate i was told "all the managers have gone home!!!" which is a joke again i worked for a call center and this is just BS!
so im out of pocket fed up annoyed unknown what's happening and clueless on the situation i feel totally let down and think they are a joke! but i just done know what to do from here?? again if this was my old job if it got to this stage we use to do what it took to have it their immedatly or just throw compo at people to make them happy but again they not doing anything about this!
so im out of ideas what can i do about this to make them pay for being a disgrace! :mad::mad:

Just to follow this on just raised the complaint on the vodafone ef:eek:ourm and I have been booked an blocked off it now! So much for freedom of speak!! And customer service!!:eek::mad:0

What do you mean you've been booked and blocked off their eforum?
were you rude to them or something? Have you asked them for the parcel consignment ref so you can track it yourself?Mortgage free as of 10/02/2015. Every brick and blade of grass belongs to meeeee. :j0 -

I have had all of that and I was givn a none excistant number! The deliver more them can track this :-(
With regards to the forum I was booted lol not booked and I was airing my complaint in a more professional mannor but still when I log on now I get a access blocked :-(0 -
The delivery company do not recognize shipping numbers I have been given they have no order for me a all! It's all very furstrating! As you can imagen0

Might be an idea to e-mail them to ask?
I couldn't understand what you meant about the parcel ref? If they've given you the wrong one, let them know and get the correct one. At least then you'll know when the phone is arriving. Andrew: from personal experience, the only way to get anywhere with Voda is to email the UK CEO: [EMAIL="guy.laurence@vodafone.com"]guy.laurence@vodafone.com[/EMAIL] your complaint will get handled by someone in the Director's Office, much quicker and certainly more helpful that the normal (poor) customer service agents.Now free from the incompetence of vodafail0 -
With regards to the ref they couldn't give me an answer and seem to just blame the warehouse or the distributers and I'm still in the dark and I'm waiting for a htc desire HD0

I used guy lawrences email yesterday and today had a telephone call from a nice lady from his office, who is now investigating my issue.Awaiting Inspiration......................0
