Are you claiming DLA? If you're having fits regularly then you may be eligible for this.

Now i am all for claiming what you should, but in this case this takes the biscuit, especially where i have a ATOS medical this week which will find me fit for work, and i will have to go through the stress of appealing.
Just as i get my report back from tests done on me to see how far my brain is screwed, suggestions were if i tried to find work something that would not need any concentrationI also aparently have a hard time understanding tasks given to me, cannot remember new things. if the atos medical advisor saw that god only knows how they would inturpret that job wise for me.
OP be ashamed, you were fine working and now you want to use your disability to gain benefits where there are people like me and others on here that rely on it because we genuinely can't work.0 -

claiming a benefit because you would be sanctioned for claiming the benefit you should apply for is playing the system ..
That would be true only if the OP should be claiming JSA. I firmly believe that the OP should be claiming ESA regardless of what might happen on a JSA claim because she clearly describes a health condition that limits her capability for work.
Maybe I should be claiming JSA then. Most people who s*it themselves every day to the point of having to wear a nappy 24 hours a day might have given up and never worked. But I didn't let it stop me for almost 20 years. I make no apology for claiming ESA, and I make no apology for still trying to find work with someone that will accept this.0 -
Can you claim JSA if you've been unfairly dismissed and you're appealing it/going to tribunal?0

I don't know, because the supposed severity of the OP's condition would contradict the ability to work in a pharmacy, for their own safety and that of others. Something doesn't add up.
I can assure you dmg that i am uncontrolled, more than 2 fits a week and I do work ft in a pharmacy. It's not what people expect it to be, most of it is picking boxes off a shelf and printing a label to go on them. We aren't involved in prepping any meds except adding water to antibiotic suspensions and mixing zynert lotion.0 -

how would wearing a nappy prevent you from working , as long as you can change then it shouldn't cause any issues ..im not trying to belittle your condition but im confused as to how employers would know..
Good question. If you're mentally strong enough to cope with the shame of losing control of your bowels every day with the associated smell and discomfort, and needing to change many times a day (no one like sitting in their own s*it) then it doesn't have to stop you working. And it didn't stop me for almost 20 years. But I struggled to keep it a secret from everyone I worked with due to the shame.
Employers get suspicious when you have to disappear to the toilet for extended periods of time many times a day, and not at convenient times.0
