    Hi.

What if the course you wanted to do went on for a number of weeks/months.?.

If the course was full-time for a number of weeks/months you wouldn't be available for work so no benefit...
If the course was part time then technically you would be set up on the system as pay day as per nation insurance number and you would sign the day after so technically always a day late, never earlier.

I.E last 3 nino 12A you would be a Monday, at college Monday and once learning agreement seen and accepted you would sign Tuesday and payment would go out Tuesday.

I understand about a fulltime course but you can do courses that are classed as part time, but might be done in one 8 hour period on a single day or as long as it's under 16 hrs you can do it. So say you have a course which is 2 x 7.5 hr days and one of the days falls on your sign on day, do you then have grounds to get it changed..?.

The jobcentre had now changing my sign on day move from friday to tuesday. So I will get paid fortnightly £294 on the friday at the bank. Got letter today from DWP.

I am now happy about it. DWP had agreed on my personal reason.

No as I said if your signing day is tuesday and your at college all day you will sign wednesday! The system will say you are tuesday though. Holidays etc or when college finishes you will then sign tuesdays (if you haven't found work by then)

I've not heard of this before. When I was at college, there was a man who would go to the JCP when we had morning break and sign on.

When I signed on years ago it was on a Friday, I'm back on JSA again due to redundancy & I now sign on a Monday.
