Are you a single parent and youngest under 7? If not then no you cant change back to income support. You are on JSA as you are now expected to work as your child is at school most of the week.
I know there arent meny jobs about but 4 years of trying to get a job? Im sorry but I find that hard to believe. No mcdonalds or tesco hireing?

    The son is ten!

OP, a quick glance at your previous threads shows that you seem to create even more barriers to employment than you already have. Have you sought help in your jobsearch from one of the New Deal organisations?
    Gone ... or have I?

Mcdonalds wont accept you for a job? No offence but Iv seen some right idiots working there who cant even give you the right sauce I ask for?!
They even hire disabled people so I find that very hard to believe that they wont give you a job.....

I think your just trying to make sure there are always obsticles in your way to stop you gaining employment. Seeing as your not even happy getting your JOBSEEKERS benefit on a wednesday. You should be thankful you get anything at all after 4 years of looking for a job. They really should have a cut off point for JSA as 4 years is ridiculous. Lazyness

your signing on date is allocated depending on the last two numbers of your national insurance number so you won't be able to change day

If you are paid every 2 weeks once you get one payment even if it is a Wednesday it is still 2 weeks until your next one on Wednesday

No it doesn't, When i signed on again end of my college year, I was asked if wednesday still suited me. Which it did cause i got paid on a saturday cause of RBS system.

    Yes it is.
Your benefit week ending day is determined by your national insurance number.

This is what I was told too. I had my interview thing on the Wednesday and was told to sign on the next day, which I queried and they did explain it was to do with NI number.

If that true the government say from 2013/14 every benefit peoples will getting no more than 1 benefit and ensure the benefit is paying less than the weekly job salary to end "you are better off on the benefits then being at work"

Good maybe then you will go and find a job.....
  • Are you doing anything to help make yourself more employable? It might be an idea to study, get some qualifications or organise some voluntary work to give yourself some useful experience :)
