Just got back in, have spent all day wrapped up against the cold wind, in Chiswick, London.
Watching DS2 rowing on the River Thames with his team; Barts and the London Boat Club. (and it's his 21st birthday today).
They lost, but were drawn against a very, very good team.
Hugs, spoons and sticks to those in need.
DS1 has decluttered a large and very heavy 32" CRT television to our local distribution point,(the corner of our estate, where if you don't want it, you take it, leave it and someone finds a use for it).

Oh my goodness me - my 12 year old and 16 year old have both come in and are absolutely covered from head to toe in mud, they are black!! But they have been out all afternoon making the most of the sunshine and have had a whale of a time so I'm happy

That is one of the few bits of London that I vaguely know! Isn;t there a brewery on the walk down to the river and I think Tim the tennis player lives there?
Anyway, have decluttered loads more from the loft. Every 30 minutes getting stuff out of the loft then results in an hours listing on freethingie, ebay, charity bagging or a tip run! This project will be ongoing.....
We found loads in there including a bottle of champagne. Neither of us have any recollection of putting it there?
It's amazing how much carp you can cram into a loft of a small house.
Have changed our bed, have got roast dinner in oven, and have put a new collar on cat number 3. That's about it really.
I genuinely don't know where the time goes.....
Catch you later on the new thread

This weekend I have been getting used to the DW. If you have never used one before and you don't have an instruction booklet, how to load it is not obvious. I could't quite believe it didnt't work like a WM and things needed to be secured down:rotfl:.
Think I am getting the hang of it after a few mistakes. And me likey a lot the putting things straight in there as a dirty dishes cupboard, leaving the counter clear.
WM been on and now hanging up to dry. A roast in the Remoska.
Another trolley + large carrier bag load taken to charity shop this afternoon. And 1.5 charity bags of shreddings have left the building.
I like the term, blessing the house, rather than house work. Really turns it around.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
Toots.. You about for noo Fred?? I'm waiting for chimps to finish eating so they can all go in the shower.
6 loads laundry folded and away
DW been on twice
DD3 showered.. 1 down and all that
Baby fed and watered.. she is in need of a bath..
I am having a wobble today.. feeling very very insecure which isn't really like me (or maybe it is and I am just seeing it now).. but I am wondering whether asking OH if he would be here if we had not had Freja is a good idea.. I don't want to know the answer either way.. see the legacy KH left me with and the quibble I am in? I'll be better tomorrow.
I need to feed us 2 later.. though I really really want takeaway.. but I don't want to go for it (or pay for it lol)
Tiddles was up in the middle of the night with bad dreams.. again.. guess where this stemmed from.. gggrrrrr

I don't know if Tim the tennis player lives there, but there is a Fullers brewery there.C.R.A.P.R.O.L.L.Z # 40 spanner supervisor. No problem can withstand the assault of sustained thought.Only after the last tree has been cut down.
