Im a bit late Moam - but im in again!

Have hung coat rack in cupboard under stairs, and a rail in the kitchen from ikea which now has pots, utensils and a spice rack hanging from it!

My new approach to decluttering - if I cant chuck it or sell it, im going to nail it to a wall :D

    Ok,

It wasnt half an hour but I have:

    Empited wm again
    Hung up wet laundry
    Refilled wm
Hung up coats which were strewn around onto coat rack.
    Rewiped dining table
Gathered up toys from LR floor
Taken LO's empty laundry basket and clean bedding back upstairs
    Put away LO's clean undies
Put clothes to be ironed in basket

    Thats it really. xx

Re bathroom roof - I need to clean inside - its just painted white. Flat smooth... dunno how else to describe it really... Oh, yeah - its got lots of black dots on it... _pale_

  • thanks for joining in Jo,

have lugged Dyson upstairs, rounded up all of DS's washing, stripped one bed, emptied bins, put dry/ironed washing away, sorted all of DS's tapes/CDs back into cases & restacked.

Quick break next to go collect a Freegle item I've been given :j, but might wait and twizzle WM/TD first. Ooh could fillup car on my way back.

Then its bathroom once back - its not as sparkly as I'd like :o

    On second lot of washing.

    Hi all :)
Sorry I haven't been on here for ages - I have been tidying as I go but oh my goodness I am lacking soooo much energy lately it's unbelievable! I really don't know what's wrong with me?! I'm not unwell - just completely drained :( I have no reason to be but when I come home from work it comes to 7 o'clock and I hit a wall and literally I have to lie down before I fall down. Sorry to sound like a moan - just wanted to let you lovely ladies, (and gents) know where I've been - sleeping!
On the plus side my washing machine was fixed on Thursday at last - woop woop! It's like my new toy now :D
Ok I'm going to watch a couple of flylady vids on youtube to try and spur me on - they really are quite inspiring tbh :) It's the very same reason I have posted on here -to say hello and hopefully just doing it will also inject some get-go in me :)
Hope everyone is well and happy - hugs and love to those who need or just want them xx

  • I have a question for the lovely flyladies.......

    Background:

    work full time
out doing charity stuff 2 evenings a week (this sometimes lead to a whole weekend every other month)
help hubby with paperwork for his business
try and walk dogs every day and as we have all put on weight need to do this twice a day (ducks avoiding those who take their pooches for hours and hours every day and is adamant that is how dog walking should be done)

How do I fit in all the cleaning???

I do try and keep up with the lists but to be honest all I've been thinking lately is "done that, if i get home in time I can do x y z" and am becoming boring and OCD about the whole thing.

I try and do a major task on a weekend when I am free and then I resent how little time I have for me. I also get tired quite easily.

    HELP! :o

    HELP! :o

I'm a stay at home mum and moan about fitting it all in. To think I had the house to look after and work as well, well I too would be unhappy at having little free time.

For me it's all about a section a day. If I can get a section cleared and tidy I feel like most of the battle is done. Cleaning can wait, tidying is the big triumph for me.

Might just be the same for you. Maybe clear the places on the lists on a daily basis and then clean really quickly on a weekend?

I'm just a fledging flylady so have no clue really, just wanted to post to say I feel your pain and I have more free time than you. Infact I'm in a grump today as I have no time to sit and be creative like I want to as I have to do all the cleaning and tidying I couldn't do last week.
