    Sweep and mop floors
    Declutter and wipe worksurfaces
Declutter the floors and vacuum them.
Tidy everything you can see when the front door is open!
Declutter floor - kept it decluttered too :)
Scrub the bath/shower/basins/toilets/bidets etc.. don't forget the outside of the loo and under the scanky rim.. it gets naaaaaasty under there!!.. oh, and don't forget the top of the cistern!
Declutter and vacuum floors - have been doing every other day :)
Polish up the taps so they shine!
Clean out the toiletries cupboard and put back the stuff you use.. and fling the stuff you don't! Do any necessary decanting so you have fewer almost empties! (did half of cupboards)
    Polish mirrors and shelves!

Above is what I did do through last week :) (Just looked through list - had done this but didn't realise how much I had done) :)

  • 1 step, I think the answer is do what you can and try not to feel guilty about what you can't.

Been to play with the gee gees, feel much better now. DH will be away again tonight and I'm wondering whether to book him into a hotel for Mon night also, this is gonna bankrupt us!

    Bed remade and linen washed.
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x
  • A question for the (primary ? ) teachers, please :A

I'm having a clearout and have come across a copy of "Essentials in Teaching and Testing Spelling" by Fred J. Schonell. It belonged to my mother and is dated 1953. She was a primary teacher (retired in 1995) and gave it to me to help my children spell (I never used it ;) ). It's in good nick.

My question - does it have any value to any of you as teachers, or could I make a few bob on Ebay?

    1 step,

Turn things around a little - try calling it home cleaning or home blessing (my favourite) rather than house work - sounds a little less daunting?

And any home/house blessing, however small or imperfectly done is still doing something and blessing your family and/or home. Homes take a while to get decluttered and tidy as well as sparklingly clean - any small steps that start to get you there are a step along the road..

So 1 step - you are constantly taking 1 more step, and 1 more step, along that road - you're travelling it and will get there in good time. Bon voyage!

    Moam

Who is off for another HHC at 4 if anyone fancies joining me.
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.
