ooh nice one on the hols, we are going on a freebie hols in July, just a caravan in Lowestoft but hoping with all the things onsite and a couple of days out courtesy of Mr T, it shouldnt cost me too much. I was also looking to do a long weekend somewhere or a few more days out when we are off in the summer hols. Looking for lots of free days and things but its hard to know where to look. Might even look and see if there are any late deals but usually not much left in the hols.

would love to go to Jersey, a lady I used to know and still sort of in touch with on fb moved there but dont know her enough to go over and meet up.

Don't feel guilty about the holiday, they are there to enjoy. We're going to book ours in the next couple of weeks.

Definitely don't feel bad about the holiday (s :rotfl:).

I live for my holidays. I've had to cut down somewhat with the arrival of my little boy and my new-found MFW mission!

That's fantastic news about the smoking. It's such an addictive habit. I never realised how addictive until I lived with a smoker who would stand outside under the eaves of hour house in the middle of winter in the rain in order to get her fix. I realised that there was no way any one in their right mind would be doing that, so it MUST be the addiction.

Well done for giving up smoking. Sometimes I wished I smoked so I could give up to save more money :rotfl::rotfl:

Very true - I just want to give all teenagers a shake when I see then smoking (even when I was one) and say 'If you are doing this because you think it is somehow cool, understand that you are being made a patsy by the tabbaco companies. They are convincing you that this smelly thing that will !!!! up your lungs, make you smell horrible, stain your teeth and hands yellow and make you a social pariah once you enter the real world is worth not only doing, but paying a mint of money for the privilege. You are being made a FOOL of of!'

It is DH that has given up, I have never smoked! So by him giving up, we both benefit and so do our savings :D

Of course that's what I meant :rotfl:
