Really hope you get something then. But then how will they pay people that no longer have a mortgage with them. Either way the payment is done it will be good. If they take it off your mortgage then the interest will be saved too. It may only be a few hundred quid but then you wouldnt have missed it anyway.

I'd contact WHS Head Office on the grounds that you can't use the vouchers now, so anything they do for you is a bonus.Debt at highest: £8k. Debt Free 31/12/2009. Original MFD May 2036, MF Dec 2018.0

I can imagine your joy. I'd be thrilled too. It's like winning the lottery !
Well done.
I hope you get the WHS ones back too. I've thrown some away once that the children were given. I thought they had been given them to play with!
I don't think they should have a use by date on them in the first place.I can't be bothered updating this anymore0 -
I would definitely contact WHS... They expired less than 3 months ago, after all. Good luck!Borrowed £150,000 in an offset tracker mortgage in May 2007 - MFD May 2041 (67)

I love M and S shopping, glad you enjoyed that, and I would def take a chance on the WH smith. If you don't get a response to the letter, if you use twitter, find them and tweet them. That usually gets a quick response0

Yukkibear, I was like a kid in a toy shop honestly you would think I never go out! WHS letter under construction as we speak, thanks for the twitter idea too."A smile takes but a moment...

Not posted on here for a bit...almost just prefer updating Michelle's all the small things thread! Well, DH and I have been naughty and booked a 5 day holiday to Jersey in July :j I've not been before and am really looking forward to some quality time together just me and hubs.
We already are going on hols to Tenerife in April with my son and his best friend...so am feeling a bit naughty for this extra hols BUT still very
Hols are always our biggest guilty pleasure. We are very careful with our money, both work full-time and very hard and as I always say no-one can take away treasured memories from our special times. I really sound like I am justifying it don't I?? :rotfl:
Last night we had more spends at our local Indian Restaurant. We took my DD and DM out to celebrate my DD's retirement just over a week ago. Great night and we are always so looked after in there - guess I could claim a MSE small victory as they gave as all a free drink and box of chocolates at the end of our meal!
Today is very much a 'still feel stuffed' day! Have some M&S fresh fruit pack in the fridge that DH got for me from his work's free meal allowance, so plan on just having that for tea tonight :A
ps. IrisBlue - WHS are going to send me another £20 giftcard
