ANYTHING!!! Before we moved to Germany I worked at Tesco, called my local store last week where my old manager is now personal at this store - she knows Im a good worker and she said she will sort me something, rang her again yesterday and she is still sorting it! Ive applied to pizza hut, greggs, shell allsorts x

Where do you live? There are a lot of charities out there (I worked temp for CSV) who help people into work and lots of them are more than able to get someone who will take anything work. Could be worth a try getting in touch with them?

Wow, this is a busy thread today.

You'd think we'd all have something better to do with our time.........

Why don't we see who can post the weirdest job they've seen today.

The Singer/ Songwriter one is the funniest I've seen today.

Singer/songwriter at least made me laugh :rotfl:

I agree, the website is awful and different postcodes streets away bring up different results. It wouldn't cost them much to get it sorted and could be getting people into work!

Wonder if there's a way to contact them, might look at that actually. Then we could all complain and see if it gets changed, least it's something to pass the time :rotfl: the old jobcentre site was so much better

:D Got a call about possibly working again tomorrow at the same company, also I may be working 2 weeks from end of month. My brother also gave my phone number to someone at ITV, they haven't phoned yet though :(

My phone signal in my house has gotten really bad these past few months. I'm so annoyed at 3. I always use to be able to get a signal - non 3G one, but then they turned the non 3G signal receivers off and now if my phone is in my pocket it's emergency calls only!!! GRR So annoying, I've probably missed phone calls because of it. So what I've done now is got my calls diverted when can't be reached. It does mean keeping 2 phone charged up though!

I just gotten over the fear of leaving a personal voice message for my voicemail! Before it was just a blank, and might confuse employers. So I recorded a voice message, the only problem is I sound so young on them! I had to record it about 10 time! I did a cheery one at first and it sounded like a 10 year old! I hate my voice, I could never do radio lol.

I wrote a little script to read out, otherwise my brain would have frozen lol.

I phoned. I'll hear Friday at the latest after they've had a conference call with the big manager. I can cope with that... right?

Ha ha, everyone hates the sound of their voice! I think I sound like the queen mother with a sixty fags a day habit and a touch of cockney.
