    Good morning :)

Great interview with recruiter yesterday, he is super lovely. Wants to put me up for two superb jobs, I just have to tailor two CVs today. Boy, I am going to sweat this! I have realised just how much I do myself down and it breaks my heart. I really hope I can turn it around permanently today. I really have done some amazing and audacious things in my career and it is time to blow the trumpet.

It is actually amazing that my last job ruined me so much that it took a year to recover, I could cry!

Interview critique: Fabulous darling! Charming, calm, paced, confident, clear, questioning, definite, sweet. Didn't wear the dress suit and stilettos, went smart casual punk with a nice hat. To be proud of.

    A STEP FORWARD.

:j:j A lovely positive post to start our Thursday off. Well done! Good luck with doing your CV's.

You have to wish you could get someone to write it all for you!

My main problem is the bad feelings I get when I refer to promotions I did at that last company, makes me feel very sour and angry. The trick is to treat them just as a bad client rather than a bad employer. The promotions were still great.
It feels like I am giving them credibility they do not deserve by referring to them :(

Have to sign on today . I so look forward to my fortnightly visits. At least the sun is out here today so might try to get out for a walk between signing on and job hunting.

    Good luck today everybody.

Just had my pay slip emailed to me for the two days I did last week. :j That's the first payment I've had since September!! (That was when I had my last lot of student loan before leaving)

Morning everyone. Just been for my rapid reclaim at the JC, it certainly was rapid!

It's so lovely outside, sunny and warm and the grass is being cut, I love the smell of cut grass :)

Going to do my job hunt then do something for me!

Is it true I have to apply for anything the JC gives me? They did a job search on the phone with me and I said I wanted full time but they've sent the details of a part time one in the post for me to apply to...

  • Not sure if they can make you do this but I know they called my ex in once for a meeting to discuss his claim, and were threatening to sanction him for not applying for a copy typist post whch amounted to 8 hours a week

I think it depends on the JC - I don't apply for any that I am given, but it took a few months to get through to my advisor the validity of what I am applying for. These jobs pay £40K plus a year and I pretty much embarrassed him out of the jobs he was printing out. I also pointed out what a destroyer of my confidence it was to print out part time book keeping jobs in shady companies on the other side of town.

Oh I'll just apply for the blinkin' thing then :rotfl:
