Nobody thinks that! A job isn't worth being upset over, try look for something new but if it really is that bad don't feel guilty over leaving! I would say to give it more of a chance though, my last long term job was awful for the first few days until people came out of their shells and now I wish I was still there!

I definetley have no plans to leave just yet, I have to give it longer than a day, I know that. The one thing that is getting me through is I'm only there three days a week for the first three weeks.

I've managed to find two jobs to apply for this morning, and my OH is going to bring a book of stamps home with him tonight so I can post my spec letters.

I just want to be happy, I'm not bothered about earning loads of money.

Oh and Drea, I would get in touch with those who interviewed you, just asking for an update. But then I am very impatient!

    Welcome.

Don't give up, were all in the same situation. it's not very nice but your doing all you can. Hopefully they will sort things out so you can get your JSA. I can't even claim that so have about 2 months of money left before I'm really stuck.

You're right, I'll give them a ring after 2pm (just in case she's on lunch). I'd rather just know even if it is a no so that I can get the job out of my mind!

    Afternoon all,

Sorry about the rubbish days everybody, wish I could be more positive for you but I can't. I just spent the morning talking to the bank trying to sort my finances out and have completely wasted my time.

I'm just about ready to give up.

I've found just two jobs this week to apply for and i'm dreading having to go through all the websites again this afternoon. Would love to give it a miss but way too scared that this will be the day my dream job gets posted.

Nobody should feel that they're complaining here Lexilex, that's what the thread is here for.

Hope somebody here gets some good luck this week.

I have the option of a Business or Finance graduate job or a singer/songwriter!

I really wish Job Centre would sort out the website though, it's crap to search for anything using it

Wow, this is a busy thread today.

You'd think we'd all have something better to do with our time.........

Why don't we see who can post the weirdest job they've seen today.

Singer/songwriter at least made me laugh :rotfl:

I agree, the website is awful and different postcodes streets away bring up different results. It wouldn't cost them much to get it sorted and could be getting people into work!
