Still haven't heard back from my interview
Maybe I'm impatient, it was Thursday I had it. The job starts in 10 days or so, so I should know soon!

Am joining the thread as I have just sent off my first job application for 10 years:j
I am being made redundant at the end of March so thought I'd better start looking, and this is the first job I've seen that matches my qualifications and experience. Have revamped and streamlined my c.v. so it's now all systems go.
Congratulations to those who have been successful - maybe a lucky day to join in.0 -
Thank you all for your good wishes! As some of you might remember from a previous thread 2 weeks ago, I started a job on a Monday and resigned the following morning as it was absolutely awful! I beat myself up over whether I had done the right thing or not, turning down a relatively well paid job after signing off JSA and being unemployed again! I had nothing but support when I posted on here, for which I was very grateful! I'm now so pleased I didn't stick with it and compromise everything I believe in and lower my standards to fit in there!
Just goes to show fate plays a hand in decisions sometimes, as I found the job I just got on the day I resigned and had to apply very quickly as it was the closing day!
I'm not a courageous or confident person but today's news proved it was the right decision, for me anyway, and that the right job is out there for everyone!
Another 2 of my friends have also heard today that they have got new jobs, although both are moving within their companies - so we are celebrating with a meal and few drinks tonight!0 -
