  • Have an interview for a specific job with a recruiter this afternoon, strangely I feel really low when I should be happy and excited.

Do you get to the point where you are not sure what you are doing anymore?

Is it a kind of "i'm probably wasting my time" kind of feeling? I feel that when i'm applying for some jobs. Good luck with the interview, maybe you'll feel a bit more excited as the time draws nearer.

Personally I hate Fridays at the moment, I try and start the week with a positive attitude, that this will be my week, then I get to Friday and nothing has really changed. It gets me so down.

Come on somebody, lets have some more good news.

Good luck November! Hope it goes really well.

Bloody typical! I rang down the stairs to get the post and missed a phone call on my mobile. I think it's from the company I've been referred to by the Job Centre, but it's so mumbled I have no idea. I think it says something about ringing me about an interview next week but who knows. There was no number either

For anybody by a radio later. Jeremy Vine on radio 2 is discussing job interviews and CVs after 1.00. I normally only listen when Martin is on but i'll tune back in today to see what they have to say.

    Best of luck to all

I am really treading water right now - I still have absolutely no idea what I want, or at least wouldn't drive me to tears, to do and it is severely limiting the range of things I can apply for. Being 'fresh' into the job market from Uni of course means I don't have the experience of different sectors. What I do know however is that I am not really a 'paperwork' person as the thought of sitting down for hours on end makes me very uneasy. But then on the other hand my 'people' skills are also shocking

After my interview yesterday I'm constantly checking my phone has a signal. Lately in my house the signal's been absolute rubbish, if it's in my pocket it's emergency calls only!

I hope I get the job, the interviewer seemed nice and friendly, and I was almost totally relaxed in the interview, which I'm not sure is good or bad lol.

If I don't get it, don't know what's next, will need to send out more CVs again and really keep my eyes and ears open for jobs!

I had my interview today and now want the job more than ever!

Although I was told it was just a friendly chat, it ended up being a friendly competency based interview! Luckily I was well prepped and prepared, just in case! I think I answered the questions in a positive manner, although I could kick myself now as not sure i used the STAR format!

They said interviews finish on Tuesday and they aim to let everyone know on Tues afternoon or Wednesday morning - its going to be a very stressful, nail biting few days!

I'm dreading not getting it, as hate the thought of missing this opportunity and having to start looking all over again. I need to have my positive head on and believe that fate will take a hand if its the right job for me!

Hope to see some good news about job offers today! x

I am keeping my fingers crossed for everyone who is awaiting interview results!

I went and spoke to our school headmistress this morning and had a very positive chat and am going to start voluntary work after the school holidays! She is going to try and get me some experience across all the age ranges in school which is fantastic and was very happy that I had offered to come in. I am really looking forward to it!

Best wishes to you all :)

Hope everything works out for you, mandrose, its horrible waiting isn't it. I had to wait over a weekend as well, once. Really really hope you get this one.

I went for a informal visit to a Primary School that I've applied to. Its a lovely school and I'd love this job, its just right for me.

I'll hear next week if I'm down for an interview or not.
