I would agree with that only elaborate more and maybe something like a good team knows each other's strengths and weaknesses and works together for the best possible outcome to the business (hope you get what I mean, but worded better than that).0 -
Grrrr im properly pi55ed now. Decided to enquire at budgens who i had interview with other week if there was any news and the reply was "oh sorry, i forgot to call you" so i asked if there was anything i could have done and the reply was "the others had experience". She made a promise to call me back but didnt so why make promises if you dont stick to them. Fairly annoyed, only thing i can think of is that i dont actually have experience of dealing with petrol and a pfs.
You spend X amount of time filling a form in to then get an interview but get turned down due to experience, the whole point of application form is to sell yourself and put anything relelvant to the job on the form.
Just wanted to vent.
I had this when applying for a job at Farmfoods, not only was the job advertised as one place but was totally different, but then they asked what experience I had with frozen food (a bit when working in supermarkets) but it wasn't the right kind of experience. Its getting really silly now isn't it.:T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one:beer::beer::beer:

Agency contacted me regarding working in my old company and I said that I was not interested. Feel so good
:D
The company is doing a lot of reorgs, which I would find unsettling to work in plus I am ready to try something new now
Must admit though there is a childish element to my character which says if the old company made me redundant then I won't grovel to go back, stuff them:o
Interview this afternoon. The company looks good and the job spec matches my skills (on paper). Really nervous though. It is also a 2nd interview so I hope it goes well0 -
Well I didn't get the admin job at the Fire Service. Apparently I was over-experienced which is odd as the previous similar jobs that I have applied for they have told me I am under-experienced (I have 8 months experience in HR Admin - I had to have a change of career because of illness).
I've nothing on the horizon, I can't find any suitable jobs to apply for and I'm completely fed up now!0 -

Try and think of self employment people it may be the way to go. There is so much help and support available.
The more i think of it the more i think this is the only way to go to try and work for yourself instead of waiting for someone else to take you on?
I know its not always that easy btw but this is what i think lately.:footie:0 -

Being your own boss and in charge of your own destiny is tempting. I am waiting for my final leaving date from my company then will be investigating contracting. Contractors are required at short notice so I cannot make that move until I know I am available0 -
God, I'm sooo fed up today. I've never known the job market to be so bad. All the agencies keep telling me how it's the worse PA/Secretarial market they've ever known. I'm beginning to feel I'll never find a job - I can't even find anything to apply for. I'm going to have to speak to mortgage company etc on Monday which I'm not looking forward to. Heck, I'm not looking forward to anything right now .... I need to have some light at the end of the tunnel but it's looking extremely dark right now .... I'm going to try and cheer up for the weekend (or my friends are likely to desert me) and hope for something better next week!0
