I think it depends what role you've applied for and who you applied through (direct or agency).
I applied for 4 roles but have only heard back from the agency recruiting for call centre staff. They sent me an email asking for more info the day after I applied and I sent it straight back, that was on Friday. I got my email about the assessment sessions today.
The agency blurb does say they respond to every single applicant with feedback.
I have heard nothing about the roles I applied for directly through Amazon.
Thanks for replying, it was direct through Amazon i applied so won't hold my breath then lol. It was call centre staff i applied for also.
Are you able to give me the agency details?0 -
As far as I know it will be handed onto agency then but how long that takes I don't know............
Agency is Expect Talent but they don't list vacancies on their site so if I were you I would do what I did. Go to Monster and apply for the Customer Service Associate roles paying £18k-20k. Then they'll know exactly what you're applying for0 -
It's been about 9 months now
We are going to chat about it as you I'm 18-24 age group I have to go on it from 9 months or something like that. They started to explain but decided it was better if my personal adviser explained.

Hi Miss Scrooge,
Firstly he said my individual interview was fine but that during the group activities I hadn't been "as good as other people".
.
Sounds like the interview from hell, the manager must have watched the Apprentice too much. Don't see how building things with balloons relates to the real world. If they want to see people in action, then they should give a scenario based on retail problems. I wouldn't let it get you down, the reasons they have given you are just plain silly0 -

I am so pleased, they rang me about 10 minutes ago and offered me the job. I'm still shaking! I start a week on Monday.
The hours are going to be 11am - 5pm Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
The best, best thing is that I get a free travel pass as a perk, so no more train or bus fares for me!!

Hooray horray. Hope you are celebrating tonight0 -

I attended an Asda group interview years ago. It was a nightmare. I was only 16 and was told I had to bring in a passport for ID. I didn't have one, couldn't cough up £70 for one and certainly not in such a short space of time. I let them know the situation before I attended and the lady on the phone said it would be okay if I bought in another form of ID, so I did.
Anyway, there were about 30 people at this interview. We were required to all sit in a circle while the interview was being prepared and someone came round for our ID. My form of ID was not good enough for them and in front of the whole group I was told I had to leave. The way they spoke to me made me feel I was at school again. It was humiliating and degrading.
My grandfather wrote a letter of complaint to them and they apologised and offered a second interview. Needless to say, I didn't bother again.
Good on your grandfather, I bet you were proud of him.0 -

It's not really getting me down, just making me cross! It was all I could do to ask the bloke if he was serious!:heartpulsSpoiling my two baby girls with love - it's free and it's fun!:heartpuls
I'm not very good at succinct. Why say something in 10 words when 100 will do?

Things are still dragging for my husband. He had a telephone interview on Monday, followed by a call on Wednesday saying they would like to see him in person. The interview is the first week of July..............
A contract job he was being put forward for (hundreds of miles away but needs must) the agency was supposed to let him know yesterday if the company want to see him. The agency person was off yesterday with a family crisis and today isn't returning calls, which is odd as she has been good previously about calling back when she said she would.
And still the agony continues.....Make £2025 in 2025
